What's better than a Cheesecake Smoothie?? A Cheesecake!! This is my fave recipe and if you're not a fan of orange, any flavor Jell-o works great. Raspberry and Lime are a couple of my personal faves! http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/orange-dream-cheesecake-82744.aspx

Thanks, Eh!! Congrats on your loss as well....one Canuck to another.

Thanks. It was fun!! My friends and I have our next weigh-in dinner in 2 weeks and plan to be roasting some more by then. lol

A lot of people will tell you they're bad for you...that you should steer clear of processed foods, etc. I eat them for lunch most days at work because they're quick and easy and add variety. In my opinion the biggest thing to look out for is too much sodium. Lean Cuisine seem to be worse for this, but they do have some…

BUMP for later.

Invest in one of those little George Foreman grills. I have one at home and LOVE it when I don't feel like firing up the big BBQ. Steak, chicken breast, pork chops.....all super easy with just some Mrs Dash or Grill Seasoning. Also makes great quesadillas...after you've cooked the meat.

Thanks for all the great ideas guys. Picked up some PC Blue Menu Thin Buns to try and some low fat/low cal provolone. Going to grill up a veggie burger tonight with a side of HG Lord of the Onion Rings 2.0 Will let ya'll know how it turns out.

I'm from Alberta too.....as are a bunch of my MFP friends. Welcome!!!
-
Super. Thanks so much. Looking forward to trying it. Do you know if the leftivers freeze well??
-
How many servings is the Beef and Broccoli?? Also when I look at the recipe it mentions corn starch....how much? I don't see it in the list of Ingredients. Thanks, Elana

BUMP for later.

BUMP...Going to try this one soon!!!

If it's a "treat" I would still order the Sweet and Sour chicken but ask for the sauce on the side. I love Chinese too and often find they like to "drown" the food in the sauce. Tasted great but not good for weight loss. This way you can just dip your fork before taking a bite. Also I would probably go for a spring roll…

Just a dash of Black Pepper. Why mess with a good thing?
-
Just go into the "Food" section here on MFP and create a Recipe. It'll let you add all the Ingredients and then do all the calculations for you.

I live in Alberta and have seen some of the flavored ones at the Super Wal-Mart and Safeway in the gourmet food section. Happy hunting!!
-
Super. I'll have to give that a try.

Baked Potatoes!!

At most grocery stores in my area it's actually in a case in the Produce section.

This worked for me too. I've never liked plain water....too boring, but now I find myself drinking 21-24 cups a day. (7-8 large water bottles) I've almost completely kicked my diet soda habit too. I have a pretty-girly bottle I picked up for $5 at Old Navy and somehow it keeps me motivated.

So do you melt it before you put it on the veggies, or is the heat from the veggies enough??
-
I love that stuff too!! I have to get a friend to ship it to me as it's not available in Canada. The Key Lime Pie is yummy too. Now if they would make a Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake flavor...I would be in heaven.

Take a neighbors dog for a walk with you if you don't have one of your own. They're also great listeners.

Well last night was my first taste of the Veggie Crumbles....used them as a meat substitute in my favorite Shepherd's Pie recipe. And you know what.....I really LIKED it. Now I'm not saying I'm going to replace all the meat in my diet with veggie substitues, but I won't be scared to switch it up now and again especially…
-
Thanks for the tips. I know I'll find out tonight, but do the crumbles "taste" like ground beef??
-
Any other ideas??? Haven't tried to make the burgers yet but did throw together a Shepherd's Pie last night using it that I'll be having for dinner tonight in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Is it weird to say I'm nervous?? I'm such a fussy eater and worried that I won't like it just because I know it's not ground beef. Wish…

Here's one of my all time favorites. Generous portions and freezes well: http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/updated-shepherds-pie-88411.aspx I'm going to try making it with Veggie Ground Round for the first time tonight.
