Speaking of energy gel. I have been very curious...I am just not getting to distances where I need to consider some "in run" fuel. What is the deal with Gels? At what distance should I start using a gel....how much...how often....don't have the first clue. Any insight would be helpful!

My wife teaches 3rd grade and several teachers from her school have bonded together to do a mini-bootcamp thing. It seems to work well for them!

I am running my first half in April and I rejoined MFP just because I need the motivation and nutrition information. When I started my weight loss journey, I began with the c25k and just sort of kept going from there. Right now though, I hit my wall around 5-6 miles.
