  • this sounds great! Thanks,
  • you can also use a can of pumpkin to mix in the cake mix. Just cake mix and pumpkin that is it. It is very hard to mix and you should do it by hand because I burned out the motor on my hand mixer. But, it tastes awesome. Frost with fat free or low fat cool whip. The white/yellow cake with pineapple as suggested above is…
  • definetely a good and quick way to make shredded pork, chicken or beef that you can use in different recipes. Yummy chicken noodle soup too. I use it often during the summer to cook my veggies. I throw corn on the cob, green beans and little potatoes all in together and within 5 minutes they are done. Love it. I even add…
  • I have cut way back on diet pop. It is hard to do and sometimes I get headaches. I think it is because of the sweetners and not so much the caffeine.
  • dont think of it as a diet. Think of it as living...living healthy. Adjusting to a new way is hard but you know that a new way with eating healthier and execersie is a better way. Hang in there. The longer you last, the better you feel. And if you are like me, the better you feel and the more weight you lose is all the…
  • how about the restaurant rosariossa?. A coworker of mind recommended that place. Not a diet recommendation, just a recommendation. http://www.rosariossa.com/
  • subway, subway, and subway...LOL! Maybe we can find some sushi when we are there. But, one day we must do texmex. Cant go there w/o the texmex.
  • I just read that you should change up your calories. Maybe do the calories 1200. for 5 days through the week then change it up a bit for the other 2 days and increase your calorie count to maybe 1500.00. Its so your body does not get used to it. Same with exercise. You should change it up a bit. Lifting one day vs…

The article that I read said it is good because is triggers in the brain to make you feel full so no hunger pangs plus it also…

  • my husband and I share an hour training session and the cost is $80.00 per session. Our trainer is a bit newer though so his rates are a bit lower. We have been training twice a week but we are soon going to once per week. I think we are good to go on our own now for a while.
  • Wow you look great. Keep it up. Those pics are very inspiring.
  • be strong...stay away from the pizza. Just think how much further ahead you will be without the pizza and having done the spin class.
  • simmer slow cooked with tomato sauce and slice green pepper and onion.
  • our trainer suggested a workout on the treadmill as follows. You set at a fairly good jogging speed 4.5 or 5.0...rest for 20 seconds...then you jump on and jog for 40 seconds...back off again for 20 seconds then jump back on for 40 seconds...keep going in that pattern. I guess its good because it keeps your heart rate up…
  • I just took care of my pizza craving to: One english muffin split (55 calories) 2 T. of Pizza sauce (10 calories) 2 T of Mozzarella (25 calories 2 Hormel low fat Turkey pepperonies (7 calories) Total is 100 calories per serving. It was very good and actually tasted like pizza crust and not an english muffin.
  • my sons girlfriend has gluten allergies so I am learning some new things myself. I know that having gluten allergies is not quite as severe as having Celiac disease. She can eat Aunt MIlle Brand light potato bread. Its 35 calories per slice and is actually very good and now all that I buy. I have also made chicken for her…
  • thanks for the ideas everyone. I love the little pizza ideas with the english muffins and the black bean salsa seems very easy too.
  • whats closer Subway or the Grocery Store ?? Brown hamburger and freeze it. Run to Subway. I think that is our dinner for tonight because we will be on the go.
  • I would try Kohls too. I know what you mean though about finding workout clothes. It seems like the sizes should be the other way around. Those that dont really need to work out (size small) have the easier time at finding the clothes.
  • omg! What a hard question. My first thought was green beans, whole with a little lemon and some slivered almonds. But then when I read all the responses...I saw asparagus and beets. I love them too but those are veggies I guess we just dont eat often. Can't think of a veggie that I really dont like.

  • love black beans and rice and add a little cilantro. Great source of fiber too. I sauteed spinach, those carrot strings, mushrooms in olive oil then added orzo noodles. Towards the end I added dried cranberries. It was very good. Baked sweet potato and baked sweet potato. I also like to use the ronconi (sp??) brand of…
