  • try itgain in the rice cooker. I add one tablespoon of butter and I believe that is enough for whatever reason to make it not ooze out. I have made it where I have tried to not use butter and then again forgetting to use butter and both times it oozed out. Any time i add butter it works perfect. I add a little of that fake…

  • Congrats on the weight loss! You can definetely tell! Way to go!
  • Carry the water bottle with you. If I am at home I have a water bottle with me and I find it easier to drink out of the bottle rather than a glass. When I am at work I drink out of a straw which makes me seem to drink more as well. Plus, me and the girls have scheduled time that we go to the cafeteria for water so I know…
  • today I ate it plain. Yesterday I added almonds and cranberries. The day before I added a bit of syrup. I have also added brown sugar and pecans. I love oatmeal and just recently switched to the steal cut oats. Just read that they are better for you but they do take quite a bit longer to cook.
  • well after reading this post i am embarrased. My first 5k was 40 min and my second was 35.01. and I have no idea how I did 35.01. I think something was wrong with the chip. I think I suck at running ( well maybe my run is someone elses fast walk) but i am not giving us because I love it.
  • I agree with most other posters. I personally would not log it, unless you did some down and dirty housecleaning. If I am not sweating I dont feel like I had a good workout. and personally I dont sweat when I am doing housework. I had one friend that would nearly everyday log 3 hours of housecleaning...c/mon how dirty is…
  • I too work out after work but i do go home first and eat and then go to the gym. I usually dont eat anything real heavy or a huge meal before hand. Sometimes when I come home I will have some protein (handful of almonds, spooful of peanut butter, protein shake) it is hard to leave after you get home but I have a husband…

  • i made it using rotel (tomatoes and jalapenos - kind of spicy) I used two cans. I used refried beans and fiesta style corn. I didnt use two cups of cheese, probably closer to one cup. It was so good. Both my kids loved it. This recipe is a keeper. Very nice portion size for the calorie count. Next time I make it I will add…
  • Polenta can be found in the mexican food isle of the grocery store. I am trying this now...just put it in the oven. I was going to add canned chicken but then I forgot..was too busy trying to pay attention to the recipe. Will let you all know how it turns out

  • I made homemade vegetable beef soup. I added potato, onion, kale, yellow and green squash, carrots, and broccoli. It was so good, best I have ever made. Not sure I like it sauteed w/ garlic and oil like spinach. I think I would par boil first. It was a little rough.

  • I had three fun size 3 musketeers (frozen) yummy. But that is it for me. My halloween candy is gone. I am glad I dont have any left but boy was I nervous that I would run out. I really dont like cutting it that close.
  • wow...thanks to everyone for all the advice. I am going to try a bit more intervals and maybe not try to go so far at once. I want to get outside and run because I just found that I do like that better but being in Michigan is going to make that a little difficult in the next few months. Thanks again for all the advice!!
  • Curious to know....what is your true calorie burn on the HRM vs. the machine itself and by MFP? Does the HRM show more calories burned or less. It see,ms that no matter what speed I go or what level I set the elyptical at I always burn about 10 calories per minute.
  • mix in sauteed spinach, red and or yellow pepper and some garlic....chopped mushrooms etc. cilantro and fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Lots of disappointments for me this weekend but I did still manage to drink my water that I was supposed to. These summer weekends have been a killer for me. I do so good on the weekdays but then that weekend rolls around and well...we know what happens. Thanks for keeping us looking at the positives...today is a new day…
  • This was posted on here last week. I made it and loved it. Very easy and very very good. I just left out the avacodos. Southwestern Coleslaw 14 oz pkg coleslaw mix 1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced 1/2 medium red onion, diced 1 jalapeno, seeded and…
  • just sent you a friend request....just started running (walking, jogging) and I love it. Great job on the weight loss
  • my sons girlfriend is gluten free. She can still tolerate Aunt Millies Light Potato Bread. And, its only 35 calories per slice. I eat it all the time now. It is a whole lot cheaper than the speciality bread and last a lot longer too. Just got it bogo free
  • not sure...I guess you would have to do piece by piece. The cream cheese and the fried pawns are going to be the downside. But it all sounds very yummy. It sure sounds better than the healthy choice I had.
  • I add some Jalepenos too :) Its also great over fish and even chicken too
  • wow...you looking amazing :) Way to go!
  • When I am on the elyptical I have found that regardless of how fast I go or at what setting...it still seems to average that I burn 10 calories per minute...give or take a few...so with 15 minutes of elyptical set at 4, 5 or sometimes 6 and my speed is maybe about 6.5 it says that I burn about 150 calories. This is lower…
  • hashbrown potatoes out on the grill...season them and wrap them in a foil bag and throw them on the grill...no mess and so easy made macaroni salad using canned turkey instead of tuna, ronzoni noodles or wheat noodles, low fat or 0 fat miracle whip/mayo pasta salad with ronzoni noodles or wheat noodles with kraft free…

  • Well thanks for this post....because of this it made me crave a fried twinkie. So we ended up going out for sushi last nght to a place where I know they have fried twinkies. We got a fried twinkie and an order of fried oreos. They are so good. I think its rolled in panko crumbs and flash fried. Definetely would not be as…
  • fits me to a "T" - just sent you a friend request.
  • we try to stick to the tuna rolls and stay away from any tempura. We also opt for the tuna over salmon. Some places will let you get brown rice instead of white which helps a bit too. Enjoy!!
