  • Herb Roasted Chicken and Vegetables... I got the recipe from a Reynolds aluminum foil ad. Crossing my fingers it's good!
  • Love me some Fage. It's the only yogurt I can tolerate because of the texture. I am still not a fan of the flavor, but at least it isn't super runny. Runny + tart= Gagging!
  • Congrats! That is an AMAZING accomplishment!!! I will say this: Don't get too discouraged if you have a little gain here and there. It happens, even if you're on top of everything. I've been at this about 9-10 weeks now, and I've logged losses most of the time. However, last week I had the unexplainable 6.5 lb loss in a…
  • 5'7", big boned, hourglass/pear SW: 285 CW: 255 GW1: 185 GW2: 150 I will start at 185 and see how I look and feel. At my smallest, I was 145-155, but I was probably skinny-fat.
  • I had that problem with a cheap digital scale I purchased. I would weigh one weight, then when I went to double check few minutes later, I'd weigh 20 lbs heavier. Needless to say, THAT scale was returned, and I bit the bullet and got the $40 WW scale. That scale has worked amazingly, and it's consistent. I highly recommend…
  • I haven't stepped foot in a gym. I do a lot of walking (eventually running), use the Jillian Michaels DVDs, and play Just Dance, Zumba and Wii Fit on the Wii. In two and a half months I'm down 33 lbs. I think I am faring just fine WITHOUT the gym.
  • I am inspired! I started out pretty much the same weight/size as you. I am 2 months into things, down 33 lbs, and I am thinking to myself "I dunno if I can continue this..." Seeing this post has given me a new drive. Thank you and congrats!!! You look amazing!
  • It's one day. Go crazy! That's what I would do, and plan to do when my b-day hits... but I have 9 more months before I have to worry about that! :drinker:
  • Me too! And the wind gusting around the house.
  • Mmm.. Puppy chow! Now I want some  And if I had some, I wouldn't be able to stop eating it until I had a bellyache!
  • My 1st week on here, I went over by A LOT everyday because I was eating fruit and dairy (lactose is "sugar"). After a week of going over, I stopped tracking sugar and started tracking carbs. I rarely go over on carbs, lol.
  • I'm on Yaz, and have been losing steadily. Did I initially gain weight when I 1st started on BC (then, Yasmin), yes I did, but that was probably a because of a combinations of issues (was no longer dancing, no longer in color guard, eating bad cos fast food was easier to get between classes, working in a pizza shop where…
  • The white chocolate mocha is probably one of the HIGHEST calorie drinks on their menu, even if you get it without whip and non-fat milk. (270 calories for a tall non-fat, no whip) I love the Cinnamon Dolce Latte (tall, no whip, non-fat, 160 calories ). I get the tall size because 1) Caffiene is my enemy; I get very sick…
  • I think it's an acquired taste. I had it plain at a restaurant and wasn't over all impressed. I made it at home and it was ok, but I still needed to tweak the recipe. I had a recipe from BHG for salmon with skettie squash salad with a chili-lime dressing. It was completely palatable, but not my favorite. I don't see…
  • I'm here everyday! Always looking for like minded people to help keep me on the mostly straight and narrow!
  • Once a week on Saturday morning. I think daily would drive me crazy.
  • I want a boxer. I am currently looking for one!
  • Almost 25 lbs down, and I haven't been to a gym or the YMCA. I've accomplished everything just by walking, playing Just Dance and Zumba on the Wii and a few assorted DVDs or On-Demand shows.
  • When I was younger (maybe 8-9), my mom tried to get us to start eating ground turkey. She snuck it into our sloppy joes and Dad and I willingly ate it. She did this a few times. Then, one day I saw the packaging in the trash. I asked her if the last few batches had been turkey and she unwillingly told me yes. 20 years…
  • I have the Zip, and I love it. Hindsight, I probably didn't really need it, but it's also nice to know when I have a much more active day. There's been countless times where I've gained an extra 200-500 calories because I have been zooming around like crazy. Since getting mine on 2/10, I have lost 7.5 lbs. Would I have…
  • I have 100-130 lbs to lose. I lost the 1st 18 lbs in like 3 weeks. I am now at a steady 1.5-2.5 lbs a week. Like people have said, the more you have to lose, the faster the initial loss.
  • My profile pic is current as of 2 weeks ago. I change it whenever I have really noticeable changes. Full body pics might be coming soon
  • Congrats! I felt similarly empowered when I tried on my class ring and it fit!
  • A co-worker of mine was in her like 7th or 8th month of her 2nd pregnancy. She is naturally thin as a rail due to a hyperactive thyroid. We were walking down the hall together and she said "Look, Heather, I'm almost as big as you now." Ouch...
  • Actor: Gerard Butler (accent, dark hair, blue eyes... *MELTING!*), Alexander Skarsgard Actress: Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Emmy Rossum
  • I like this thought! OP, you're looking great! I wish I had the same level of confidence to post full body progress pics. Keep up the amazing work!
  • You look great! I pretty much have the same goal weight as you. I'm 5'7" ish and started off at 285. I have short term goal of 185, long term 150. I am currently at 263. AMAZING WORK! You're an inspiration!
  • ^^^ This! I usually do record EVERYTHING. The moment I don't, is the moment I will start returning to my previous ways... And I DO NOT want to go there again.
  • I've had mine for about 2 weeks now, and I love it!
