You'll know if and when it's right. I was engaged to a guy for 6 months, and I arrived at the decision it would have never worked for us. My light bulb moment was 4 months into the engagement, I had long heart to heart conversations with co-workers about how miserable I was. But, also, everyone else saw it was a disaster…

I usually average right around 2 lb/wk, but my body also has the nasty habit of not losing one week but dropping 4-6 the next. I haven't quite found the corelation between when I stay the same weight for 2 weeks, but then have a major drop the following week. You WILL NOT keep losing at that rate in subsequent weeks…

5!!! My aunt, a family friend, my sister-in-law, a high school friend and a friend from WoW (though neither of us play anymore).

168 sticks gone... Do you know how many batches of biscuits I could make with that?! Mmmm, biscuits!!!

I can totally understand what you mean!!! I've gone from 285 to 243 in the last 4 months, and everyone around me is like "Heather! You look so great! I can't believe your transformation!" I look in the mirror, and even though I am 3+ pants sizes smaller, I still think of myself as the fat girl. I still have another 60-90…

Hiyas! I'm Heather! :drinker:

This is what I thought, too. I've met a few girls who even I think "Damn... you could use a cheeseburger! And some chili cheese fries... And a jumbo shake..." At 5'9" and around 150, you definitely don't fit the cheeseburger comment, but he might have thought you were looking a little gaunt previously. Now if someone told…

Pay me well and I will be your personal chef ;) Nothing thrills me more than cooking... it's just the clean up that sucks!

I'd rather go back to bed than go into work.

I don't even bother tracking sugar, because, as many people have said, MFP doesn't differentiate between refined sugars and fruit sugars or dairy sugars (lactose is a sugar). Just track your carbs and keep that in check. Unless you have the NEED to monitor actual sugar, it doesn't benefit you to see that you go over your…

Bump so I can come back to this!

In the process of losing 100+ without surgery...

I'm here daily... bad days and great days... and days where I am complaining about the bad days, lol. Add me if you'd like

I am east of the Mighty Mississippi, but far from the coast. Ohio here.

Yes.

The fajitas would be good if you don't use the tortillas, guac, sour cream and cheese (which sucks... I can't do it when I go to Mexican restaurants). The steak would be a good choice as well. As for sides, probably the baked potato and salad with dressing on the side. As ruwise suggested, have a little exercise before you…

I am initially trying for 180-185. I started at 285 (size 24), currently down to 246 (snug size 18). In high school, I was always between 145-155, BUT for whatever reason that put me at a size 16. Given that "math," I will see what a 100 lb loss looks like. If I still feel the need, I will take it down as low as 150, but…

Mine is set at 2 lbs/wk, and I usually lose right around that amount. But, I also have about 100 lbs to lose. I will cut it back to 1 lb/wk once I meet my inital goal, because at that point I will probably only be looking to lose no more than 30 more lbs. But, for now, it seems to be working!
-
I started at 285, down to 246. I have approx. 60 more to lose to get to my inital goal. Feel free to add me!

Do not weigh daily! Ever. Also, weight can fluctuate 5-ish pounds throughout the day. Also, it might be completely hormonal if you're getting near your period. Go see a doctor about your concerns. They will steer you in the right direction. :flowerforyou:

Probably about a month to a month and a half old. I'll be updating sometime soon.

I had a very bad day at work. So, to burn off that all frustration, I mowed my yard and edged around everything! My yard looks AMAZING!

This has been me (at least close enough): -12, +4, -7, -2, -2, -3, -2, -1, -7, +3, -4, -3, -2 My progress graph looks a bit like a heart monitor. It's normal, just roll with it. My sharp initial decrease was probably because of becoming hyper aware of what I was eating and NOT eating everything around me. I also really…

Likewise. Sometimes the snack between lunch and dinner gets skipped because of time constraints at work, but always at least 4 meals a day.

I have tried 2 separate times to do Jillian's Ripped in 30. Both times, I did 3-4 days of week 1 and QUIT! Despite being down almost 40 lbs, I am still getting my butt kicked! Keep your chin up and keep trying  Once I am down 50 lbs, I will TRY AGAIN! Maybe, someday, I will manage to get to week 2

Fage is the best!!! This coming from a girl who REFUSED to eat yogurt. It's the only kind I will eat, and I feel rather lost when I don't/cant have it. Case in point: Went to DC for a vacation, so I had a whole week w/o my beloved Fage... I was an unhappy girl, and my tummy was even more unhappy.
