My mom has the Paderno 4 blade Spiralizer. She's 100% obsessed with it. I'm not interested in it (I'm an awful picky eater), but I'm pretty impressed with how uniformly the vegetables come out. The clean up is pretty easy too. She eats zucchini noodles just about every night now, or a cucumber noodle salad for lunch, or…

Maybe this. I change my exercises a lot and I'll notice an extra 3 pounds of water weight on the scale the next morning. It's pretty crazy, but I take it as a sign that I must have really pushed hard in my workout. It goes away after a day or so for me though. I try to just weight myself once a week so the fluctuations…

I was able to fit into go-go boots the last time I dressed up (I was about 180 then), but I had to use black duct tape to tape over the zipper after putting them on so that the zipper wouldn't break. I miss cosplay so much, I looked so good.

I have a pair of thigh high black vinyl 6 inch heel boots I bought for my Black Canary cosplay 2 years ago. Right now they only zip halfway up my thigh. I'm already zipping them up a little higher, but I can't wait for the day they finally fit.

Add me, I'm a stay at home mom also working on losing 60+ pounds.

My calories are set for 1660 and I'm nursing a very big 8 month old. For me the key has been to eat back all my exercise calories and do a cheat meal once a week. If I don't eat back my exercise calories, I think my supply drops a little, and I'm HUNGRY. There are a lot of recipes for lactation cookies on Pinterest, but…

It's tough though, sleep is the one thing I can't change. I'm a single mother of an 8 month old. If he decides not to sleep, I don't sleep. I'm always working on keeping him on his schedule, but babies do what they want sometimes.

Therapy has really been helping me with my binge eating problems. It took a couple tries to find a counselor that was the right fit for me, but now I wish I'd tried harder years ago. You could also read up on the practice of Mindfulness.

Egg tacos: corn tortillas and over easy eggs, a little cheese or bacon if I have it. Maybe this is weird, but I love it.

Pretty cheap and easy to make your own. I see a lot of recipes on Pinterest, that way you can totally control the calories.

I kept getting sweat in my eyes when I was working out today. I've never worked out that hard before.

Splenda makes me hungrier and crave more sweets, but I'm not sure if it's the same for other people. I transitioned myself to black coffee though.

Keep pushing, I bet day 40 will be great.

I read about it the last time one of these topics popped up in the forums. It seems like a totally arbitrary list of foods to eat.

It gets a lot easier, but yeah I avoid social situations in the beginning. When I get more comfortable with eyeballing portion sizes and I'm more confident about my plan, it's a lot harder to get derailed by a night out or a shared meal. I second the suggestion for a cheat meal. It's fun and it helps me stay focused all…

I log my whole week in advance and then just update it as things change, so that I don't have to be logging after every meal.

I do a cheat meal once a week, it helps me stick to my goals through the week. I'll probably start having it less frequently though as I get further in the process. Right now I need the extra boost of motivation, but my weight loss will probably slow down a bit soon (probably when I get under 200 lbs) and then maybe I'll…

Croissants fresh from the oven at work.

When it's cooked right, it's so good! (Beef tongue tacos from a cart outside a Mexican grocery store.) I'm digging the unlimited chicken wings, but why are tomatoes limited? (Edit: I hope it's clear that I think this diet is silly)

Pretty cheap/simple to make your own. I've seen a lot of recipes on Pinterest.

Mindful eating has worked for me to maintain my weight, but I really need the logging for weight loss. Mindfulness is a big part of my sobriety though, and I think those practices are very helpful for healthy eating.

Counseling really helps. It's hard to start, but doing this on your own is harder. Binge eating is an eating disorder.

Add me, I love having friends with open diaries.

Just need to forgive yourself and keep moving.

I tried to lose weight too soon after having a baby and really discouraged myself. You should give yourself lots of time to heal. I did this with my baby for awhile and it was pretty fun. He loved it. http://www.babble.com/baby/workout-mom-exercises-with-baby-weight-loss/

Having to listen to thin people complain about being fat and then being patronizingly told how pretty I am. Seeing a nice outfit in a store window and knowing 100% that there's no way they sell it in my size.

I've been feeling the same way. Are you getting enough sleep? I've only been getting 4 hours of sleep most nights, and it's putting me on edge. Meetings sounds like a good idea. I'm also a stay at home mom and a lot of the time just getting out of the house alone for a little bit makes me feel better.

People who haven't been heavy their whole lives don't really understand how hard it can be to break that lifestyle. You just have to stay strong around your family. If I were you I would just exercise a little extra before going to grandma's house so I had some extra calories to spare.

Even cheaper than an air popper, is a pack of brown paper bags, that's what I use. I use this method, but omit the oil, I think it pops better without it. http://www.seriouseats.com/2015/01/how-to-make-microwave-popcorn-brown-paper-bag.html
