I do a bit of both. Generally I do it as I go but if I know what I am having for dinner that night I add that in as early in the day as possible as it helps me make decisions about lunch and snacks.

I love chocolate also but have found that having a chocolate biscuit like a 2-finger kitkat or a rocky bar is just enough to curb the cravings and they are average out at about 105 calories so easy to work into your allowance.

I've lost 11 lbs and have gone from being very snug in size 12 (probably should of been wearing 14) to most of my clothes being too big on me.
