I have nothing to add other than I love how you have Gremlins in your food diary. :flowerforyou:

I think I have to avoid completely this year. I have fond memories of eating entire bags full of the Easter malted milk balls with the crunchy colored shells, and I don't think I've reached the point where I could stop after one serving yet. That's okay - a goal to set for next year. :)

Agreed. For me, at least, I would use the distance as an excuse for not actually using the pass.

Thanks for sharing your success. Congrats on the new life you have before you! :)

La tortilla factory low-carb/high-fiber tortillas have 12 grams. I eat one almost every day.

I don't know which scale is "best" but I have the one below and I like it. It measures pounds of fat, percentage of fat, percentage of water, percentage of bone, and BMI. You can also set different profiles for different users. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/1/1/13059-conair-weight-watchers-glass-body-analysis-scale.html

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Most days I have a small snack in the morning and afternoon - I find that helps me not over-eat at lunch and dinner.

You are my hero. :flowerforyou:

I grew up in rural nowhere, and overweight/obese people were the norm. Now I live in a wealthier suburb and overweight/obese people are a very small percentage of the people I see on a daily basis, even though the suburb is only about an hour drive from where I grew up. I drive an hour to visit my parents and shop at their…

I can't speak to accuracy, but I recently purchased this scale at Bed, Bath & Beyond, and I like it. It says it measures pounds of fat, percentage of fat, percentage of water, percentage of bone, and BMI. You can also set different profiles for different users.…

I feel like Slytherin could have been awesome without that whole Death Eater background going on. Surely there have been good people who were ambitious? That said, Hufflepuff seems like the most enjoyable experience.

I prefer the original Kashi Go Lean - more protein for fewer calories! 1 cup is 140 calories. I eat it dry as an afternoon snack, or with milk for breakfast. http://www.kashi.com/products/nutrition_info/golean_original http://www.kashi.com/products/golean_original

If you're with co-workers, ask someone if they want to share/split a meal if you end up in the pub. I'd bet some others would be grateful you suggested it!

You look like you FEEL awesome now! Congrats and thanks for the inspiration. :)

I realize you posted this in the recipes section, but there are some frozen meals I love that I find very filling for the calories - Amy's Bowls/Meals. I find them at Walmart and they're perfect for when I get to dinner without a large calorie allotment left at the end of the day! Tortilla Casserole with Black Beans-…

My original goal weight is 175 because I don't remember ever weighing less than that - I wanted to keep it realistic. If/when I make it that far, I may adjust down to 150.

Oh Anya... quite possibly my favorite comic relief of all time.

Congrats chica!! You are awesome! And very inspiring as I'm still in that "I know I've made progress but I don't really look any different" stage. Thanks for the motivation that's going to help keep me going. :) :)

For me, it's dividing up servings/portions. When I open a bag of chips, crackers, etc., I count out the exact serving size into individual ziplock bags, so I can grab them when hungry or packing my lunch for work. Otherwise I know I will eat half of the bag in one sitting. (And by "half," I mean "the whole thing")

Every day, first thing in the morning. If I didn't, I think I would go crazy - I am just well aware that the number will go up and down at irregular and unpredictable intervals.

Spring Valley women's pack - right now I love the convenience of having them all together in a little pack (too lazy to do it myself just yet) Also drinking 1 scoop "Macro Greens" in the mornings.

I've been logging every day since the beginning of 2013 with definite plans to continue doing so. :flowerforyou:
