I am 5'9", 154lbs and a size 6 or 7?? I would like to be 140 lbs eventually! I have had success before in losing weight with weight watchers, but as of now using MFP is doing me fine. It's all about exercising regularily and cooking for yourself!

It's true! believe it or not the more you eat the better your metabolism and the more success you'll have losing weight and keeping it off! It may be a slower "gain/lose" process that is frustrating, but you don't have to live on 1200 calories forever as long as part of your weight loss is also building your metabolism!

today I am going to work, then picking up my camera from the shop, picking up my friend's dog who I am looking after for the weekend, going home, having my first attempt at making vegan jello shooters, then drinking the night away with dear pals at a metal show.

Hm, I should try and get to the gym on weekends, but usually I am hungover hahaha. Yeah, I need to figure out an eating schedule for the weekend. The only way I seem to succeed is if I have a schedule going..

I am extremely different offline, because my friends group are a bunch of punks and skids (obviously my language that I use when I talk to them is a little different than on an online chat group with people of all ages and lifestyles!)

pretty much every day i have a smoothie for breakfast. I usually make it out of dark coloured berries because they are low fat and calorie and they are antioxidant rich(keeps you young!). I just used 2 cups of frozed berries, half a banana, one scoop of vega protein powder and whatever water i need for it to blend nicely.

awesome, thanks a lot everyone, that makes me feel better. I've been going to the gym 4 times a week and hopefully on my off days i would like to get some exercise in there somewhere.

Hi Megan, I'm new here too, but good luck! Making changes is challenging, but definitely not impossible. Just don't let your self get discouraged, and celebrate the small achievements while still pushing yourself.
