I used to have good luck with 3M waterproof tape. It's spongy & strechy so it really stays on-just wrap it all the way around so it will stick to itself & you'll be good for at least 10 miles.

Ok, it doesn't look too bad, but I would definitely try to get your protein up to like you had it today. I eat anywhere from 130-175g of protein a day-feel free to ceck out my diry. Provided you don't have kdney problems, higher levels of protein will help to minimize muscle loss while at a calorie deficit.

Clif bars taste pretty good ( especially the chocolate chip coconut flavor) but they're around 240-250 calores & only 10g of protein. I can make a protin shake for 210 calories that is 30g of protein, greek yogurt and a homemade pumpkin protein bar for 250 calories that is 31g of protein. I keep one in my purse for…

I've been vegetarian for almost 3 years and get 85-100+% of my iron from food sources. Fortifed breads, kale, oatmeal, cream of wheat, quinoa, Gardein faux meat products, blackstrap moleasses, beans (especially lentils) & snap peas are all good sources. Remember to also eat vitamin C along with iron to help with the…

Again, not an expert, but I think you answered your own question with the title of this post. I would look at why you are binging, and try to solve that issue instead.

Academy Sports has good prices on dumbells. Sometimes they even have a buy one get one free sale.

I've been vegetarian for almost 3 years and have never felt better. Does this mean the entire world should be vegetarian? NO!!! It just means that it works for me. There's no need to get all worked up if someone says something about you not eating meat...there's nothing worse than a vege-nazi. I've also learned that the…

I love soy-it's a great source of protein. I use soy milk, edamame and some faux meat products. I make it a point to buy non-gmo soy. My husband has never cared for dairy milk and has used soy milk for over 10 years with no negative effects. I think the whol estrogen and soy argument is blown way out of proportion and you…

That's probably per dry cup which would make probably 3 cups of beans. As far as "hooves & gross things" they have to label the ingredients in any food product...if you get one that says "no animal products", then it tends to contain no animal products.

I've been vegetarian for almost 3 years and have never felt better. I eat tons of protein from things like greek yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, almost anything Gardein ( especally the burgers or crispy chick'n fillets), beans (I usually make a big batch of some kind of ben soup on the weekends and put it in individual…

I just finished up 2 rounds of P90X and am now doing Insanity tomorrow is my 2nd fit test). I could get through the P90X workouts fairly easilly (I used to run 5-10 miles 5x a week but when it started getting dark early, I decided to try P90X), but I definitely think the Insanity workouts are tough! I've been able to…
I am a vegetarian - have been for 25 years. I should have used the sarcasm font. But thank you for the thoughtfulness.
ha! I've had a long morning and I haven't had lunch yet...my sarcasm meter is running low :)

^^ ummm...not true...I've been vegetarian for almost 3 years and have plenty of muscle definition. I eat 130-175g of protein a day and only 20g of that comes from a protein shake. Feel free to check out my diary for ideas. You will also want to make sure to consume enough iron too (blackstrap moleasses, snap peas, oatmeal,…

This is definitely not high protein. I eat 1,800 calories a day on a 45/35/20 ratio of carbs/protein/fat I would definitely recommend increasing your protein. I generally have 130-175g of protein a day and somewhere in the range of 200 carbs. Feel free to check out my diary for ideas.

1 lb = 3,500 calories To gain 4 lbs, you would have to eat 14,000 extra calories Probably just water retention

I got it used from Amazon Marketplace-that way, if it turned out to be fake, Amazon would take it back.

Smoothie can be a code word for fruity milk shake. If someone hears "smoothie" they automatically think healthy. Be wary when someone says "it's impossible to gain weight on________"

I've been vegetarian for almost 3 years. Feel free to add me or check out my diary for ideas.

I've done 2 rounds of P90X and am finishing up week 2 of Insanity tonight. Definitely follow the nutrition plan. I looooove it! Feel free to add me or check out my diary for ideas.

Meals 2 and 4 don't look like they would have any protein. Maybe try adding some greek yogurt? I'm also doing Insanity and love the nutrition plan. Feel free to check out my diary for ideas. 4:15am...yikes

If you're hungry, make sure you're eating enough protein, carbs and fiber to help keep you full and drink plenty of water.

I don't take any vitamins and my bloodwork has never been better.

I think its pretty safe to just say you're a meat eater. I have honestly never heard of this.

#1 side effect of iron pills...constipation. I had iron defecient anemia as the result of my Crohn's disease and had to get 6 IV iron infusions last year, so I take my iron levels very seriously. I'm also vegetarian which can make it a little more difficult to find iron sources. First the dr put me on prenatal vitamins…
