I'm almost done with week 8 and I absolutely looooove it! The host, Tony, can be pretty high on the annoying scale but you'll get used to it. He tells you how to modify the exercise if you're just starting out. Good luck and feel free to add me!

I do this for my 2nd breakfast (I eat 6 meals a day). I make a bunch on the weekend and put them in the freezer. a minute or 2 in the microwave and done! :) Hardboiled eggs are my 4th meal (in betwen lunch & dinner) so all of these different ideas will definitely help me change it up some! Thanks everyone!!

also anything gardein makes is soooooo good and usually packed with protein!
-
duh, not sure why i didn't think of that-i put them back in the egg container :P next week i'll definitely bust out the trusty tupperware! thanks for the great ideas everyone!!

keep an eye on your salt intake, drink plenty of water and make sure you're getting enough iron. because of that bit*h Aunt Flo, us gals need twice as much iron as men but my intial though when seeing this title was "good lord, someone get this woman a piece of chocolate...now!"

I've been vegetarian for over 2 years and have no trouble getting 110-130g of protein a day. feel free to add me or check out my diary.

i'm almost done with week 8 of p90x and absolutely looooove it! a year ago, when i started getting serious about exercising more, i would do different workouts that were on the cable on demand channel. its a great way to try out a program before actually buying it.

1800 sounds about right. i calculated your base metabolic rate (how many calories you would burn if you never got out of bed) and its 1749. using the harris benedict equation with an estimate of exercising 3-5 times a week, that would be 1749*1.55=2711. to lose 2 lbs a week, subtract 1000 from that, so 1711. there are lots…

10 years ago I lost 20 lbs on slimfast bars, shakes & pasta...i gained back 35... which i've lost because I know how to eat properly now. your nutrition is up to you but theres an awful lot of chemicals in them-try getting protein powder (a lot of health food store have single serving packs that you can try before you buy…

PlantFusion is my absolute favorite!

Check out my diary. I've been vegetarian for over 2 years and have no trouble getting plenty of protein (usually 110-130 g a day). Whey powder flares my Crohns really bad so I use PlantFusion (vanilla Bean is my fav flavor)-it's doesn't have any weird ingredients or artificial sweeteners. I know a lot of women tend to…

check out sixpackbags.com. They have really great bags that are designed to hold a LOT of food.

4 years ago is 4 years ago. Each day that you are making some sort of effort will put you that much closer to your goal. You can do this!!! Even though I say don't live in the last, losing 171 lbs is incredible!

It's a fine line between logging your food and watching what you eat and crossingover into ED territory. As a result of being diagnosed with Crohns in 2011, i've definitely become a little neurotic about food because I never really know what is going to trigger it until its too late, then it usually takes probably 2 weeks…

i can't eat full fat foods because of my crohns disease
-
way to be a jerk-I have crohns diesease and can't eat full fat foods-even the almonds I eat have to be spaced out over at least an hour or I'll get sick
-
its not practical to eat unprocessed foods all of the time-i eat foods that are minimally processed with no wacky ingredients
-
processed food are delicious...potato chips, candy, white bread (ooohhh...sooo soft & fluffy) but theyre probably not the best thing in the world for us...its like some sort of cruel joke
-
they're totally expecting you to say "i eat half a bowl of cabbage soup every third wednesday of the month and once every month i do light exercise for 5 minutes"
-
Just as I suspected...no one has heard of it... :)
-
the first thing that stood out to me in your diet was honey nut cheerios. even though they are freakin' awesome, for 240 calories, they provide almost no nutrition. feel free to check out my diary-im vegetarian but manage to get usually from 110-130 g of protein.

peanut butter has just 4 net carbs per serving-i cant imagine only eating 10 net carbs...i eat waaaaay more than that and am at a healthy weight. i think 100 net carbs is too low. healthy carbs have a place in an eating plan...wow this is mind boggling to me
-
i would say this is overkill. just log actual exercise time.
-
a heart rate monitor with a chest strap & watch (polar ft4 is a good one) is your best bet. most gym machines estimate the calorie burn waaaaay to high.
-
i absolutely looooove p90x...but cardio x is definitely easy. plyometrics is my favorite...i wish i could do it everyday :)
-
i have the polar ft4-got it on amazon.com for $60 and i looooove it! super easy to use!
-
im in week 8 and plan on doing it again once i complete it. i absolutely love it! it may seem impssible at first, but just stick with t & keep track of your reps & you'll love the results!
