I've been vegetarian for over 3 years and I find that it actually helps my GI issues (I have Crohn's disease). That being said, it is not for everyone. I don't know a lot about PCOS but I do know that it is incredibly complicated. I think there's a group on here for PCOS which may offer you better advice-if I rememeber…

Have you washed the strap? You should wash the strap every few days. you'll obviously want to take off the part that snaps on, then you can just toss it (the strap) in the washer. I put mine in a mesh bag so I won't forget and toss it in the dryer. It sounds weird, but it really helps-I think sweat and dirt must make it…

Whey protein powder makes my Crohn's flare...so I use PlantFusion...really good and super easy on the stomach.

I keep one in my purse and my desk drawer in case of emergencies.

You may be having trouble digesting the whey protein. I can eat dairy products and bars that contain some whjey protein, but the 100% whey powders are a big problem for me. If I drink a whey protein shake my stomach will inflate like a balloon and I have a good week long Crohn's flare. Maybe try getting bars with different…

Friendship 1% is my favorite...perfect amount of salt and it's a good texture. The no salt added kind tastes like wallpaper paste.

I wouldn't be as concerned about the taste as I would be about getting salmonella. I'll stick with cooked egg whites.
-
Add raw egg whites to a smoothie?

Pizza Friday Nights & Mac n Cheese Saturdays keep me sane...I love healthy foods (veggies, fruits, cottage cheese, yogurt...all of that good stuff) but you just have to find a balance and just fit it in your calories & macros.

I have acid reflux and Crohn's disease, so it helps for me to eat 6 meals a day so my stomach is never too full.

^^ this. If you cut out gluten, then go get a blood test, your results may not be accurate. Get some bloodwork done first, then possibly try making changes but definitely don't do it before seeing your doctor.

Glad I'm not the only one! :)

I'm vegetarian and eat around 150g of protein a day. Feel free to check out my diary for ideas.

Why do you hate eating dinner after working out? I run 4 miles + do Insanity in the evenings, so I'm super crazy hungry when I get done. I have 6 meals a day (1800 calories total) and one meal is after I finish working out, usually around 10:00PM. The time of day that you eat doesn't make a difference, the total calories…

I get the 0% fat plain fage...the only ingredients are skim milk and yogurt cultures...no sugar added.

You don't need the shakes. Just follow the nutrition plan and the workout calendar & you'll be happy with the results. FYI...most of the results come in the 2nd month.

I'm at 133 and would like to be 125-127 by the end of the month. I'm in month 2 of Insanity & run at least 4 miles 4x a week. I'm hyper vigilant with my macros but there's really not any food I plan on giving up. Trying to get this last little bit of weight off & getting ready for a charity boat race :)

Forgot to mention I had an extra 2" incision on my side since my gallbladder was too inflamed to fit out of the laser incisions and a had a drain for a week and still managed to heal up fine. I remember being scared to get the incisiin wet in the shower because I thought it would mess them up or something. The best part is…

You'll feel better about a week afterwards and about 85% by two weeks, probably 100% by 3 weeks. Just take it easy and don't push yourself.

low-sodium cottage cheese, greek yogurt, string cheese, non-whey protein powder (i use PlantFusion), protein bars, edamame, overnight oats (oats, yogurt, milk, sweetener, vanilla, chia seeds). I'm vegetarian, but I remember seeing ackages of lw sodium beef or turkey jerky that are like crazy high in protein. I usually have…

I cook with dairy milk, but don't really care for it to just drink, so I use soy milk in protein shakes or overnight oats.
