It tenderized my venison tonight when I used it as part of a marinade but drinking it is nasty and won't magically make you lose weight. Well, unless you feel sick and don't want to eat after drinking the stuff. That's possible. :)

I have ad blocker so I see nothing unless I'm on my tablet.

Could somebody please run your hands down my back? I need to make sure my liver is healthy! How do I make sure the other organs are working right?

Well that really sucks but I'm pretty sure she's not getting it back. It would be in her best interest to come to terms with it and move on.

I can't eat grain due to intolerances so I rely on fruit and sweet potatoes. Beans are another good source of carbs plus they have protein. For me I can't rely on them because they make my stomach hurt but you might find them to be a good addition.

I've battled anxiety for years! Learning my triggers has helped immensely with keep them at bay and I can manage them without medication. Exercise does help because it helps you burn off the adrenalin that is coursing through you from the panic attack (your flight or fight response is triggered.) If your doctor has given…

 But what if I have both? :blushing:

I remember when I was in 7th grade and 501 Levis were the cool thing to have in our school. That particular pair of jeans had a red tag but I happened to have Levi's that had an orange tag. I was teased mercilessly for that stupid orange tag so I went home and colored it red with a Sharpie. No more teasing. It was then…

I'm not full on celiac but I am extremely intolerant to gluten and I have a bunch of other food intolerances to go along with it. I eat pretty much paleo because it fits in with what food I can tolerate. I do have a little dairy now and then as I can handle small amounts but grains in general seem to hate me and I can't do…

Oh how horrible! I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers go out especially for her children and family.

I had chocolate last night and still came in under my goal. And I woke up to a 1.6 lb loss (sporadic weighing so who knows when it really disappeared but the point is, the chocolate didn't ruin it. ) And I did no exercise yesterday or the day before.

Oh wait! I just remembered one I actually did! It was at a women's retreat and I and another woman were in charge of getting the speaker (who happened to be our friend) a thank you gift and making sure her room was ready. The rooms had bunk beds and she was sleeping on the bottom so we ran string back and forth in every…

I'm not a prankster but my husband is. He is a woodworker in a cabinet shop and he's always doing something to the guy who works next to him. The guy dishes it right back so it's all in good fun but I have no idea how they get any work done! My husband is always hot melt gluing the guys things down to his bench; tools,…

We have a food scale and I require the kids the weigh out whatever they're eating according to the package serving size. It's not because I want them counting calories, I need them to pace themselves because I can only afford to buy so much food and if they eat it all in one sitting we're going to be eating grass from the…

I live in an itty bitty town and our gym is on a corner just outside the "main" shopping area. There is a BBQ place two doors over but they're actually houses with space between them so you don't even see it when you come out. Other than that, a car wash and a gas station. No temptations outside my gym! Well, unless I've…

If he's that darn picky I think I'd let him cook his own dinner! My husband was extremely picky when we first married but I'm not limiting my own intake nor that of our kids to his narrow spectrum of "acceptable". He's a grown man who managed to survive before we married, he was welcome to make himself something different…

I know a lady who teaches belly dancing and she's well over 200 pounds. She can do the moves and she loves it so more power to her!

I felt totally ridiculous when I first started taekwondo, especially because our building had a lot of windows and was on the busiest intersection in town so everyone could see! But I kept at it and was almost ready to test for my brown belt when my school closed. :( I got over feeling silly and I still miss doing it but…

I make homemade fried rice with quinoa. It still tastes really good but it's got a different texture. That's the whole reason I make it with quinoa though because none of us actually like rice. :) Quinoa is good for you too so bonus!

Corn, nightshades but most especially potatoes and gluten are my main ones.

The bra advice is all good so I'll skip that part but I wanted to comment on pushups. You can do them on your knuckles (least favorite option but I had to do it that way for Taekwondo when I was taking it.) You can use push up handles or a set of dumbbells if they have a flat spot on them like the hex dumbbells do. This…

I have ended up on what amounts to being pretty close to a paleo diet but not because I thought it would help me lose weight. I have fibromyalgia and have spent the last few years working through eliminating foods that I react to and by the time I was done, paleo. I do sometimes feel deprived but I also feel my best…

I tease my husband that he doesn't just have body hair, he has a pelt. He's quite furry! When I was young it would have bothered me as I preferred the smooth look but he started out that way and as he got older it's really filled in. He jokes that it's migrating off his head and onto his back. :D Doesn't bother me though.…

I have several food intolerances so I actually can't eat a lot of what is offered in social situations. I don't care to have to explain myself every time so I do as the other posters have suggested and just say, "I'm good, thanks." No one has ever questioned me or demanded I eat the pizza even if they don't know what my…

We were given a bunch of venison this year and the guy who gave it to me suggested grinding it with bacon since venison is super lean. It is amazing and makes the best meatloaf!

I also have fibromyalgia and understand the constant pain. Actually there is a group :http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/957-chronic-pain-weight-loss I have discovered through three years of traking my food on this site that much of my pain is caused by food. I'm pretty limited in what I eat at the moment but I am…

Is he trying to bring back the Solid Gold Dancers from the 80's? Those gold ones were soooooooo shiny!

I have an upcoming bacon themed potluck so your post was perfect! After I wipe the drool off my keyboard I'll go see what I want to make.

I sure hope that once I remove the protective layer that's hiding my muscles, I look as manly as you ladies!

I made one last week with spinach, toasted pecans, roast pork loin, tart apples and a Raspberry walnut vinaigrette. Oh man! It was so good!
