I can't drink whole milk. It's too thick for my taste buds. The main thing is that if you account for the calories in it, you should be fine. I very rarely drink milk but I prefer to not waste my calories on it so when I do have some I opt for skim or coconut milk.

First of all, I personally never offer desert. In my opinion it creates bad habits that I don't want to battle in the future. I let my kids decided for the most part when they are full (within reason of course) because I have created a ruitine with them and they know that there will be no snacking later on so if they are…

Well I see where one would think this but if the contents of the bag are a certain number of calories...just because the stuff that's stuck to the inside of the bad, didn't stick to the popcorn, you can add that as extra. It's all part of the bag.

I'm a creature of habit...egg whites and oats every day and I love it!

You are so right Jamie....The body is like a car, if you let it run low on gas, it will not run properly!

It doesnt matter what time you eat as long as you are under your calorie intake target for the day (24 hour period). Always clalculate from midnight to midnight. Why would anyone not eat past 6pm when they will be sleeping all night and not feeding/fueling their body during that time. You can eat at midnight if you want as…

WOW - Congratulations! You look fantastic :-)

You need to figure out how many calories you are burning in a 24 hour period and then put yourself in a 500 - 1000 calorie deficit from that number. Here is a great link to give you a general idea of where you are with your current activity level http://my.apexfitness.com/vip/content/fitness_calculators.php If you walk…

Here's the simple way to understand calories in/calories out. 3,500 = 1lb You need to track the amount of calories you burn in each 24 hour period and make sure you are in a deficit based on how much you want to lose each week. 500 cal DAILY deficit = 1lb weight loss per week 1,000 cal DAILY deficit = 2lbs weight loss per…

Yes but it's not an entire treat day, more like a treat meal! You look forward to it all week and work hard to stay on track and then you reward yourself. I would also cut out alcohol (if you drink it now). Just for a whort while. It's empty calories and will make a huge difference. That was the first thing I cut and boy…

Oh and one more thing....I NEVER diet! I eat clean and do not deprive myself of what my body needs. Also...I allowed myself one cheat meal a week but made sure it was still a healthy one!

I, like you, LOVE every type of food!!!!!! I found that when I was trying to lose my weight, not only did logging the meals keep me on track but I also planned out every meal several days in advance. I never allowed anything to change my meal plan. Even when co-workers all went out to lunch, I kindly said "no thank you"…

I find it harder in the summer time too for some reason. Not sure where you live but here in Phoenix its 115 degrees so the heat takes it out of you. I am ok with my workouts but I dont eat as clean during the summer months. Good luck and if you figure out how to stay on track, let me know the secret! lol

Nice to meet you both! :-)

Just so you know, Body Bugg is the most accurate one on the market right now. I would not get anything cheaper just to save money. There is also another one called DotFit which is the bugg but sold by a different manufacturer. It's a bit more pricy but comes with 1 year of the computer program vs Bodybugg is only 6 months…

Depends on your goals but I always recommend for people to research and hire a good trainer even if it's only for a couple of session to teach you proper form. There are also tons of resources online. Check out www.bodybuilding.com They have wonderful articles and videos showing how to properly do exercises. Good Luck!

You can lose up to 8lbs in 4 weeks (in a healthy way) if you mornitor your burn vs intake of calories and put yourself at a 1,000 cal deficit per day. Your body fat will generally drop with that weight loss as well but not to the point where you would like it to be. In order to drop it more, you need to eat clean, lift…

I used the body bugg and had fabulous results. It tracked my calories burned so there was no guess work and I was very meticulous about logging my meals and making sure I measured EVERYTHING. I put myself at a 1,000 calorie deficit per day...I worked out 7 days a week (7 days cardio and 5 days resistance training) I lost…
