I've been Rick-Rolled a few times.

I totally miss Looney Tunes. Bugs, Daffy, Roadrunner...I loved them all. I go on Youtube sometimes just to get my fix. I also really enjoyed The Facts Of Life, The Love Boat, Dallas, Quincy, The Rockford Files and Hill Street Blues. Oh...and Crazy Like a Fox and Scarecrow and Mrs. King...and the Fall Guy. Oh and I LOVED…

I've not done the DVD's...just classes. I absolutely love it. Since I started Zumba I have lost 16 pounds, and I have only been doing it since Jan. 3rd. It is fun, exciting and energizing. Coupled with eating properly, you can really see results with Zumba almost immediately. I felt like a goofball my first class because I…

My ex husband did the exact same thing. After speaking with my personal therapist about it, he said I should politely explain to him (and set that dreaded boundary) that unless his conversation is releated to our children, then I'm not interested in conversation with him.

Rue 21, and I am totally going to get and Aeropostle hoodie. Of course, I could just raid my daughter's closet. LOL. Now THAT will be awesome!

I used to be painfully shy IRL. The computer gave me the confidence to say whatever I wanted and gave me the protection of my happy little screen to hide behind. Since having a computer, (about 10 years) I have opened up a lot, especially in the past two years and find I have a lot more courage to speak my mind and tell…

I would start the day with a double order of biscuits and gravy, Then there is a restaurant here where I live called Tumbleweed. I would eat 2 large bowls of their queso and chips, then go to LJS and get a fish and more, with no fries, double cole slaw with extra crispies. After that I would go to Wendy's and get about 15…

I like mine with some pepper. I will eat mine with baby carrots on the side occasionally.

Ooooo what color Soul? My hubby and I are looking about buying one of those in May or June. He wants orange, I want green or grey. Right now I am driving a Ford Escape and driving 70 miles round trip to work. With gas prices as they are, I feel like I'm working to put gas in the truck.

One of THE best Christian workout songs in my opinion is "Shackles" by Mary Mary...if you don't wanna move when you listen to that, there is something wrong. :) Some of my other favorites for workouts are Newsboys, Toby Mac, & Casting Crowns.

Oh yeah...my husband eats nothing but junk food. Seriously...chips, snack cakes, fruit snacks, candy...you name it. The only time he eats anything that is actually good for him is when I fix dinner. And he is at 161. Sometimes I get really frustrated, but it's really not his fault. He can't help it that his metabolism is…

Born and raised in Louisville, KY. Moved to Indiana about 2.5 years ago. Indiana people call me a bridge-hopper, Kentucky people call me a traitor. Maybe I should move to...

My therapist always tells me that exercise is the best stress reducer. He says there is something about your feet hitting the pavement rhythmatically that helps your brain process stress. Hope you have a better day.

My favorite that my Zumba instructor uses is (I don't know the real name of it) by Ricky Martin. Olay Olay Olay. He sang it on one of the awards shows and it sort of lauched his career.

I lost 6 pounds my first week. I don't like using the word lose though because when you lose something there is usually an intention of finding whatever you lost. I perfer the term...got rid of.

The one I hate the most that I heard most all of my life "You would be so much prettier if you would just lose some weight."

Laughed so hard that I woke up husband up. LOL

This is not necessarily a distraction, but a very low cal snack that is such a treat. I buy the sugar free packages of Jello and top it with a tablespoon of fat free whipped topping. The entire snack has 15 calories and is sometimes exactly what I need to fill that need for something to eat. Keep up the good work.

Yes definitely...that would be great. I want to do what is right for my family and me. Thanks!

Splenda is a sucralose-based artificial sweetener. You measure it like sugar so it's easy to make Koolaid with, or tea, or even baked goods.

Anything I can use besides White Wine? I live in a dry county and would have to drive a considerable distance to get that.

This post should be nominated for the MFP Hall of Fame or something. I can't quit giggling.

With all this talk about sodium intake...how much is recommended? I have no idea what to even stay under.
-
Do you still put eggs and pickle in it or just the tuna and egg?
-
Haha....I thought about that when I posted this.

I love this thread. I have laughed my butt off. Does that count as exercise?? LOL

Welcome, I just joined a couple of days ago. I am really excited about all this. I am going to get a measuring tape and do my measurements this weekend. Good luck to you with your weight loss goals.
