You can do this! =) Feel free to add me - always great to have more supportive & encouraging friends on here. I have about 90lbs more to lose to get to my goal weight, so I know how daunting it can seem at first. Just gotta keep at it!

Yum! All of these sound so awesome, thanks everyone!

Bumping this to come back to when I need motivation! I'm on Level 1, Day 5! Awesome job, those are amazing results.
-
Guess I'll add to this! I started on Sunday, 3/23 and will be completing Level 1, Day 5 tonight! I'm surprised that I can already tell a difference in my endurance... it was much easier last night than the first night.

I wear a heart rate monitor to determine the calories I burned and then create my own exercise to log. The calories burned isn't as high as you would think, so be careful logging it as circuit training, especially since MFP database usually overestimates calories burned. Heart rate monitor is the most accurate, if you have…

Oh that's a good idea - I do have some chicken broth at home also. Yummy
-
Great, thanks for the responses, guys, I appreciate it. Looking forward to trying it out!
-
Yum. Saving this for later.
-
Awesome, thanks. Do you add any butter or seasonings or anything like that, or just eat it plain?

I aim for (keywords here being "aim for" lol) ~100 g/carbs per day. Some days, I'm better at hitting that goal than others. It's a work in progress! But like the others, I would say if it's working for you, then I'd just stick with that! Glad you found something that works =)

Donuts, cheetos and/or cheez-its, and pizza. And wine, to keep things classy, of course. :drinker:

I started 30DS this past Sunday, and plan to incorporate walking probably 2-3 times/week! No "after" photos or results yet, but if you want to add me, feel free! =)

This sentence made me giggle for some reason  I probably would have left the second I saw his skinny legs... lol
-
Full fat dressing all day, every day! Fat free is disgusting and pointless - in my opinion. Also, I'm from Oklahoma, so naturally, I'm obsessed with ranch.
-
I still do Tae Bo sometimes and love it lol I like to mix it up, and definitely keep Tae Bo in the rotation!

Well, first of all, let's at least spell correctly... there is no Z in exercise. Secondly.... troll. That is all.

The movements themselves should kind of "force" you to engage your muscles, due to the nature & pace of what you're doing. So, to answer your question, I guess - yes, but not to a point where you're having to focus on flexing in addition to dancing. It will just happen naturally as you move, but you should try to keep your…

I was also going to suggest increasing your healthy fat intake. Olive oil, avocados, nuts, etc. I've noticed that helps my hair a lot. Sorry you're going through this, hopefully you can find a solution.

Browsed through some of your previous posts - the one asking if anyone had taken Phentermine - and it seemed you got nothing but helpful, supportive responses. Maybe you are giving too much credit to the negative ones. In a public forum, obviously the responses will range from positive to negative and everything in…

Dropping 10 pounds in any matter of time will have MUCH more to do with your diet than with any kind of workout you try.

I've been thinking of starting it, and Monday sounds like as good a day as any! I already have the DVD at home, so might as well - I've been hearing good things about it. Feel free to add me if you want! :)

Bump! I tried asparagus recently and was surprised to find I liked it, but I've never cooked it myself. Some awesome ideas here!
-
SAME here! And probably for the same reason... we don't get too much fresh seafood here in Oklahoma, unless it's catfish from the lake. lol People loooove their fried catfish here - but, I can't stand it. The only kind of seafood type thing I like is popcorn shrimp that has enough fried breading on it to cancel out the…

Bump. I'm in desperate need of new chicken recipes, too =)

Agreed!! I'm also a former WW member, and have lost more weight and learned SO much more here than I ever did on WW. And I attempted WW many many times throughout the years, all to no avail. I feel like MFP has me on a much better track! Love it here.

Bump - looks yummy!

I've heard that grapefruit and tomatoes are good for your skin. Of course, this is just something I've *heard* - so take that with a grain of salt. I probably read that in Cosmo or Shape or something. Some other possible explanations could be a hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety... At the end of the day, if it's something…

Bump, bump, bump-a-roo

This ^^^ - I've also heard that the lowish carb/high fat/moderate protein is the best eating plan to manage PCOS symptoms. I've only recently started trying to incorporate that way of thinking into my eating, so it's still a work in progress. I have noticed I lose weight a little faster when I cut down on carbs, but it's…
