I do DVD's in my home. When my kids were smaller I could put them in a swing and workout. Some of my favorites are Turbojam and Turbofire.

 Good Luck! I started it last week!!!!!!! It is kicking my butt... however I am really liking it so far. Thank god for recovery formula or I would not be able to walk. Friend me if you want an accountability partner

I tried it for a few months and I did like the way my hair felt but I had to use alot of the product and in the long run was just too costly for me.
-
Have you ever tried DVD's at home? Thats what I use and lost 30 lbs doing that. Some of my favorites are TurboJam/Turbofire.

You won't gain weight by eating those calories back.

Totally agree! Exercise is not only about losing weight. Its about strengthening your heart, lungs etc. It keeps you young and able to do all kinds of things!
-
Thats perfect! You are so right about that.

It sounds like your body is adjusting to the pace you have for it. It sounds like you may want to kick it up. Try doing intervals during your time on the treadmill. Up the pace for 30 seconds to a minute then lower down. You didn't say if you stalled on weight loss so I think you that should do the trick. You may want to…

Definitely don't panic. First you body weight will fluctuate from day to day. I have seen a lot of people that do weigh themselves every day but you want to only record your week the same day each week to get a true idea of you weight loss. So for example always record what you weigh on Mondays. I recommend only weighing…

I finally reached my goal weight after yo yoing for about 6 years and it was great!!! But I still have to work at it. I count my calories and workout most days but I remember what it felt like at my heaviest and I don't want to go back. Its been almost a year since I hit it and I can't believe I have mantained it. I workout to DVD's at home and get up early and get my workout in. Its not easy to start but now its such a habit I don't like the days I don't get up early.

I do agree that it is his issue. Have you tried including him? Maybe invite him to the gym, go for walks together or make healthy lunches for him. It sounds like he is afraid of the changes and maybe because he is not included that scares him. I would also say try talking to him and reassure him as well as tell him he…

Welcome Dixie!!!

I always log what the HRM says when I lift. Why do you think it is wrong?
-
Katie.. I do think you need to give him space. Unfortunately no matter what you do if he is not ready to get healthy he won't do it. I think you should continue to invite him to the gym but go if he doesn't want to. Your dedication is what motivated him in the first place and if you continue to do things like you were it…

I was 161. I started exercising... and did multiple things but Turbofire, logging my food and Shakeology helped me get down to 130 and stay there for the last 6 months. Find an exercise routine you like, eat healthy and log what you eat. It works!!!

HI Shirley! Welcome to the site. First you can do this! It won't be easy but if you make up your mind to do it you can do anything. Suggestions for excercise is to find something that you love to do! I found a workout DVD called Turbojam that gets me excited and happy to workout. I miss it if I don't. Try different things…
