2007 Ford Focus SE. Fricking sweet. J/K. It sucks in the snow. 2004 Crysler Town & Country: just acquired this in the fall and only paid $1200 for that sweet ride. I am soooooooo fancy.

Yeah, although I only live 5 miles from my work, my only routes to walk/bike are along the interstate (illegal, not to mention a little deadly, LOL) or over a spillway (dangerous, as water rushes over it and I think it's frowned upon to bike over that thing).

Portion control is everything. I have some "rules" for myself. I only eat at a restaurant if I have a gift card, so this might be 6 times a year. When I'm there, I do get what I want, but I have never ordered dessert at a restaurant, and I didn't grow up having dessert after meals. We always had vegetables with our meals…

Yes, forgot to add... when you start a new exercise routine, your muscles do hang onto water weight and you will temporarily weigh more, but with continued workouts, your body will drop that water weight off. It happened to me when I first started too.

Try doing a whole bunch of jumping jacks. LOL. That should get the HR up there!
-
I have the same HRM as you. Elliptical gets me between 160-175 BPM Powerwalking, maybe 120 BPM Running had me around 140 BPM If you think it's off, try emailing/contacting Polar's customer service. I have heard they are REALLY good and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with their product. It could be…

I eat net 2000 calories a day, yo. ;) This means when I workout (6 days a week), I also eat back most (if not all) of those calories too, bringing it up to the 2300 - 2400 calorie range. EAT MORE! Unless you're on life support, you need substantially more calories than you are consuming. Google "Scooby calculator" and it…

Do what I do: daily chocolate. It fixes my sweet craving, and I ration it out. As long as my calories are in check and I'm getting my daily workout in (albeit, one day of rest on Fridays), I am good. It's been working for me for a long time. ETA: go for the organic, natural stuff. I like Chocolove (the raspberries…

Generally, 6. I have two children who still wake up at night, but it's only briefly and I'm right back to sleep. I'm also a night owl and go to bed around 12:00, even though I get up for work at 6:30. I can't seem to be tired by 10:30, but it was my New Year's Resolution to get more sleep!

God, one of the funniest moments right there!

You double dipped the chip! You dipped.... and then you dipped again....

- Elaine, Jerry and George, in "The Chinese Restaurant" Jerry: "Fifty bucks. That table over there. The three couples." Elaine: "Okay, I don't want to go over there and do it and then come back here and find out there was some little loophole, like I didn't put mustard on it." Jerry: "No, no tricks." Elaine: "Should I do…

George: "Had I known that that was frowned upon..."

"Yeah, well the jerk store called and they ran out of YOU!" -George

•Jerry: George Costanza... Is getting *married*! Elaine: Get out! (Pushes him back)

"Hi, my name is George, I'm unemployed and I live with my parents."

"We're all winners!" "And suddenly... a new contender emerges...."

Strength training made all the difference for me. I lowered my body fat percentage with a combination of strength training and cardio. I know my thighs used to have some cellulite and now it is all but gone. I had heard you couldn't change it but I know I did!

No binge days here... if I know I am going out to Outback or something (we go maybe once every other month), I will save up calories for that meal and eat light for the day. If I go over, it's generally only by 100 calories. Mine is set to 2000/day based on 6 workouts a week.

5'7 1/2". 126-127 is my goal... which I was at a week ago. LOL, "shark week" is here and with some water retention, I'm around 130 now. I hope to get back to my goal.

I am 5'7 1/2" and my abs look best at 125-126. I am at 126-127 now.

1) Christmas Vacation 2) Elf 3) Love Actually -- this is actually my FAVORITE all time movie of all movies all time. ;)

Now THAT is some motivation!

Can't get links to work.

I am real careful not to say anything bad about my looks around my kids (not just my daughter). I don't want them to think they are any less amazing, ever, and since I went through some major self-esteem issues through my teens, which I still struggle with now, I am not going to let that happen to them. I did my 3 year old…

Yes, it's me... that was taken September 1st. I feel like at the moment, I am seeing less definition in my abs, but mainly at night before I go to bed. I remember this summer, my abs were still looking decent, even after a full day of water and eating. LOL. I realize I am pretty anal about the number on the scale, but it's…

Yeah, I probably will just not wear the HRM during strength training. It makes sense that it would be off. I have seen so many friends burn upwards of 800-1000 calories in a strength training session, so I figured my numbers weren't too bad. And that amount I gave you... that is for one hour. ;) But yeah, I can take it…

I'm not a super active mom, though.. I mean, I am at work all day Monday through Friday 8-4, I get home, make supper, go workout, come home, read books, then bed, then I'm on my couch on my computer until I go to bed. I am definitely working out for body improvement. I honestly think if I cut just 200-300 cals a day from…

Thank you! I will look at this tomorrow. I never miss a day except my rest day on Fridays. I'm a reliable and stubborn old bat. LOL! Typically, I just tend to eat less on my day off because I am not as hungry. I am a ferocious animal on the days I do workout. I just was unclear on whether I was supposed to eat back my…
