It's all about personal balance. Since I am a vegetarian and eat dairy very limited, I have extremely low cholesterol and blood pressure and I love salt. I don't worry about it at all. Figure out what best works for you and your lifestyle.

my advice is to try new veggies. There are so many fruits, veggies and herbs, experiment to find what you really love. I have been a vegetarian for 5 years and protein is not an issue so don't worry. I use avocados a lot for a "meaty" type replacement. Zucchini, Asparagus, potatoes are super filling. I'm 34 and have lost 31 lbs in 6 months! If I can do it, anyone can. My advice is don't let today's bad food cravings, laziness, or poor eating choices stop you from continuing on tomorrow.
