That is so awesome!

I like them in salad.

There is always the option to quess, and add "Quick Add" calories. The more you track food, the better you get at guessing the calories.

Since it was made using the bones, it is probably very low in fat and calories. I would log it using the information for Campbell's or Swanson's fat free chicken broth.

Hopefully I'm not too late. I'm on a roll and need to keep up the motivation.

I loved them baked until they ooze sugary goodness and then spice them up with Cajun seasoning. Dinner!

Renee's Ravin Raspberry vinaigrette is very good. It's only 20 cals per T. We have a local supplier who makes amazing oil free vinaigrettes too. Yummies In a Jar, if you are in Ontario.

I am not a big fan of kale but eat it occasionally. Bananas are off my list altogether because I ate one every day for years. Just the thought of a banana makes me ill. I really enjoy liver, kidneys etc, if prepared well.

I must be one of the weird ones, but I really don't like Nutella. I love sweets, but it is too sweet for me, and not chocolately enough. Kind of fake tasting really.

I have used Runkeeper for years for walking, running and cycling, too. Seems to be quite accurate.

I also cook from scratch. Most recipes now have a nutrition summary with them. I try and find the closest item in the database and use it. Many published recipes are in the database if you include the source in your query ie Skinnytaste French Onion Soup (dinner tonight)

-23C in Ontario this morning, but sunny.

I have a terrible weakness for the little chocolate bars, especially Butterfingers. They are not allowed in the house except Halloween night. My indulgence is real molasses kisses. Kerr's makes them, and sometimes Crosby's. These are made with lots of molasses and not those plastic ones you see at Walmart, etc.

Cut into "fries", tossed with a bit of olive oil and lots (to taste) of Cajun seasoning, and baked at 425F for 20 minutes or so on a foi-covered cookie sheet. Turn a couple of times. Yummy! I also like them baked on high heat until they bubble out sweetness, and mash Cajun seasoning into them. I love the hot and sweet…

Really, truly fresh lobsters, fish and mussels. A maritimer living in Ontario.

I have had hot flashes since I was 47 and losing weight has been much harder since then. But I can attribute that as much to not trying really hard either. So I guess I'm no help. I certainly gain weight a lot more easily though.

I weigh it. I put the bread, English muffin, or whatever on the scale and zero it out. Then I put a plop of PB on the item until I get the desired weight on the scale.

Have real chocolate, just less of it. I am a chocolate junkie but I can eat just one dark Godiva chocolate after dinner and be satisfied. At least most of the time. There is no point trying substitutes. I would only suggest giving it up altogether as a last resort.

Pumpkin is a vegetable. Eggs are protein. There is some dairy and grains in there too. A perfect food. Like carrot cake.
-
Mix it with low cal whipped topping for a tasty parfait. You can freeze unused portions for later. It would probably be yummy mixed with Greek yogurt too.

That weight on the box is for cooked pasta. Simple. It says so and the numbers are not even close to correct if it was dry weight.

Weight starting to decrease again. I wonder how long it will take me to learn that if I follow my MFP plan, I lose weight.
-
Crochetluvr-I am with you. I am at the same weight I was in March. I lost and gained 5 or 6 pounds over the summer. I delude myself that snacking at night is not doing me in. I have been hard at it since the beginning of the month, too, and WILL lose 5 pounds by the end of October. Another 5 by Christmas. I can do it. We…

One of the best NSvs is actually my hubby's. He's not on MFP but is really working hard on eating well and losing weight. Yesterday he put on jeans he hasn't worn since I met him 8 years ago. I was so proud of him. And me for helping him and teaching him a bit about good nutrition, reading labels, and how to work the…

Back to normalcy. Crazy summer so far. I actually logged my food again after a couple of weeks away from it. It feels good to be back at it.

I survived a 4 day family reunion held in rustic, but lovely cabins on a small lake. Ate all sorts of desserts and stuff, but never sat down. Stayed the same weight over the period, which is all I can ask. It was a fabulous time with my parents and their spouses (divorced but friends) and my siblings and their spouses and…

Peppah7-II so agree with the concept of not dieting. I think of calories like my allowance for the day to be spent how I would like.

raleighgoodwins-I find I need to take a break from tracking food once and a while. Sometimes for a few days, or sometimes longer. I never stray from the healthy eating habits. I have maintained at about 10 pounds over my goal weight more more than a year like this. I have a range I am happy in and as long as I stay within…

The scale is creeping down again, slowly. I hope I finally get it through my gorgeous, but thick skull that it is easy for me to gain, and hard for me to lose weight. Drat!

I live in "northern" Ontario, but I am from Bathurst and still have family in Fredericton and Woodstock. Here's to kicking it back into high gear.
