You look amazing, you really do. And good job on getting back into shape. I'm 5'6" and was 145lbs when I got pregnant with my daughter. I tried to eat healthy but I really had no idea what that meant and no concept of proper portion sizes. I gained 65lbs and by the time she was 2 I had lost 93lbs. I was in great sheep but…

Bump! Love this :)

Agree with HRMbut the best way to log p90x without one is to create your own exercise using data from p90xcalories.com

I've been really wanting one for ages. Just haven't gotten one yet

Yeah they aren't big at all. Like I said before, doing squats and lunges will help you have more muscle tone which will make them look better to you. Honestly you have lovely legs and they aren't huge by any means. Someone suggested lifting weights. It won't bulk your upper body it will just give it more definition as well…

Ok lol dug with a big spoon and it was at the bottom! I guess it was like the prize in a box of cereal. That's never happened to me before, I've always found it near the top. Thanks guys! Lets keep this on the DL

Lol my thoughts exactly

That doesn't sound like no results to me! Ok so your measurements didn't change but it seems that your body has changed. Why don't you do the program again, perhaps one time wasn't enough for the results you're looking for. Maybe add in some squats and lunges. I have the same problem as you and honestly nothing shrinks my…

Bill Gates here. The guys at the office made fun of me for doing yoga and not lifting heavy so I had to create a new account as a woman so I wouldn't be expected to

Yes, same here. I think that a lot of it has to do with people embracing their bigness and as a culture people are getting bigger and bigger so what used to be normal is now thin. I don't really care, I know I want to be fit and healthy and if people think I should be heavier or whatever then that's their shout :)

Hey, I'm in the UK! I'm also 24 and I have a 2.5 year old daughter and I'm 23 weeks pregnant with a boy this time :) I've been on here for a while and lost 6st 9lbs (93lbs) after I had my daughter. It tough but definitely do-able! ETA: anyone feel free to add me but please reference this post in the message so I don't end…

I agree with you! IMO, it's a very good outlook to have to make permanent changes and keep the weight off:) good luck!

I was going to say the exact same thing!! Here's to hoping mine looks like that some day :drinker:

I've not read the other responses but the majority of weight is gained during the 3rd trimester. The baby is putting on fat, amniotic fluid is increasing, uterus is growing to the max, blood volume increases, water retention, and some necessary fat stores your body saves for breast feeding along with a host of other stuff.…

Because I want to prove to myself (and everyone else) that you CAN get back into shape after having a baby and even way better shape than before Because I want to be all buff and things Because I LOVE working out and seeing improvement in my strength Because I want to be a healthy role model for my family Because I can!

Backstory: I'm recovering from an eating disorder so I have quite a bit of knowledge on the subject of increasing calories from so little. I started recovery on november 15th and prior to that I was eating 300-500 calories per day max and usually fasting a few times per week. This went on for several months. Before the…

I say go for it! Ditch the HRM and just keep pushing yourself. I've never used a HRM and, yes, I'd love to know exactly how many calories I'm burning but does it really matter? For me, no. As long as my body keeps changing for the better it really doesn't. Plus I lift more then I do cardio and HRMs aren't accurate for…

Pace yourself! Push yourself, of course, but still pace.... it will be challenging and sometimes. You can pause the DVD for a minute and then keep going. you may want to stop but push through and it will be over before you know it :drinker:

Ok then yes, apple shape or inverted triangle

Wowza! What an amazing spectacular fabulous super splendid mega awesome job you've done! :drinker:

If I read this correctly, your measurements are Bust at fullest: 36 Waist: 24 Hips: 33.5 Yes? In that case you would be considered an hourglass shape. I entered your numbers into an online body shape calculator. There are loads of them and they will easily tall you which shape you are

I agree. I had it for 20 months and in that time I lost 93lbs (6st 9lbs). I'd make sure you are calculating food and exercise calories accurately and recalculate your TDEE.

Same for me! I can eat a lot more 'healthier food' for the same calories as one or two slices of pizza and feel full. If I'm not going to eat 5-6 slices or more I don't see the point because I'll still be hungry after 2 slices and have no calories left. I do make pizza at home occasionally and I eat the whole thing (about…

I was eating 300-500 calories per day max for several months and was never hungry. That's because my metabolism slowed down to compensate. I was weak and dizzy but not hungry. When I started eating more it was HARD I struggled to get to 500 then 900 then above 1200 and now I'm struggling most days to get to my goal of 1750…

Word. But seriously, this^^

Yes you will :) I gained 65lbs with my daughter and my belly was unsightly and saggy after I had her. It took 2 years of hard work (and finding the right program. I recommend heavy lifting mixed with cardio. i did a few rounds of p90x) and dedication but I developed lovely abs and a flat stomach and looked better than I…

I know it's cliche but abs are made in the kitchen. Lifting heavy weights and sticking with ARX (why would you stop?! I got lovely abs from it) will help keep building the muscle as long as you do them properly with good form and support with your core when lifting. Pay attention to your macros and don't give up. You will…

Nope! Everyone eats what I make or they don't eat at all. Luckily my family loves the healthy food I make because its delicious and I'm sure yours will too. Hubby was skeptical at first too. What I did was make more 'normal' food healthier. So we switched to brown rice and whole wheat pasta, beans as a substitute for meat…
