It's super hard to lose weight when you hang out with friends.

Most nutrition panels give the information in grams too. So you can just do the math without changing the entry if you're lazy like me (and enter 1.35 of a cup or whatever). Or make your own entry if you're not. Mac'n cheese is a pain though and there's got to be some estimation done at some point. I'm not sure if their…

I don't typically like chains. I'll pick a local restaurant every time if I have the choice (even if logging is a real pain)... and no, typically the portions are not insane (except the protein portion, for some reason... I don't need a 10oz steak or two breasts of chicken!). I mean, heck, even a (relatively) standard meal…

It took me forever to be able to eat chili again for the same reason lol. I'm still not over French onion soup...
-
I think I've seen most of those Oreos too... maybe not the carrot cake ones? This wasn't bad, just too peppery for me.
-
Honestly I love any flavor of Oikos (the full fat ones!).

A lot of people are also naturally active. You don't have to go to the gym or purposely exercise to be healthy and fit.
-
Mine underestimates. Either that or my metabolism is really much better than it should be. I mean, I was over by 400-800 calories consistently for almost a year and only gained 10 lbs...

Definitely don't go cheap. I had an exercising bike and it was killing my legs for a ridiculously small calorie burn. Now I'd much rather walk or use the treadmill.

My doctor told me to just eat whole grain everything and go for granola bars for snacks. Shows you they really don't know a thing about nutrition.

If you're not losing, eating more is never the answer. Give it more than 2 weeks. Weight loss isn't linear.
-
Eggs alone will never fill me up. If I add some carbs, it's much better... even just an apple.
-
It's really weird. No problem on my phone, or on the forums on my computer, but I can't access my account and diary LOL.
-
Apples for me. I'm still shocked at how much they fill me up. And coffee.
-
How do you know? You're just going with what you found online. OP has the package.
-
You can make your own.
-
I'm guessing the label is wrong.

Make big batches of meals so you can reheat it in 2 minutes. Casseroles, stew, chili... Seriously though I'd be completely starving if all I had was a 200 calorie shake before dinner.

I like the IP because it's convenient for things like stew, rice (I don't have a rice cooker), veggies, and yes, I make hardboiled eggs in it (I just set it on 2 minutes and walk away for 15-20 minutes). I love making mashed potatoes in it (no need to drain), and it's nice for meatballs too. Pulled pork was great from…

I've been on 36g of iron supplements (plant stuff I got from CVS) for 2 weeks now and honestly... I can't tell the difference. I'm probably getting tested in 2 months again. I can't donate blood anyway because I grew up in Europe.

Sugar, lol. Seriously, I don't like artificial sweeteners at all (or I should say '0 calorie sweeteners because I don't like stevia or monkfruit etc either).
-
I like chicken and turkey sausage better, but it's more expensive than pork for sure.

Honestly, I don't think that you gained that much muscle in a year, unless you were eating at a surplus and doing strength training, and it's unlikely that you lost a lot of muscle in 4 months either eating at a surplus (if you were a man, maybe). It's probably the fat that you gained that covered the muscles. But I hear…

I really like this one https://www.thepinningmama.com/healthy-enchilada-chicken-bake-recipe/ Or cut thin and rolled with spinach and feta or ham and swiss... then baked.
-
I made a lower calorie apple tart - you just use a bottom crust, then put unsweetened applesauce and apples on top. It's a lot like we do it in France really... you don't have the extra calories added from the extra sugar with the apples and of the top crust, and it's still tasty. I think a slice was 200ish calories or…

I'm not satisfied if I don't have carbs at breakfast.
-
It's much, much cheaper. Like $2-3 a lb instead of $6-7 for the 93% stuff (or 95% at Wegmans if you buy 3 lbs). You can also find 99% fat free ground turkey (it's way too dry for me, but heck), and that's maybe $4 a lb too. Then it depends on the recipe, but for a lot of things, I like turkey better anyway... I'm trying to…

Here it's gyros and it typically comes with tzatziki sauce. Now I wonder what the difference is between a gyro and a doner kebab. I guess it's the sauce?

My eyes always burn when I get sweat in them.

Broken again for me!
