WE NEED DETAILS. I'm happy for you though :D

For me it started when I got below normal BMI. I gained back 25 lbs (partly because of that, honestly), and now it's much better again. It's totally depressing, honestly.. I guess it's either be overweight or being miserable 2 weeks a month. I'm still not sure if I'm in peri-menopause or not, just found out that I have…

I really disliked those. Weird taste and texture, bleh. I haven't tried or seen many new things lately but I saw a LOT of new Oikos whole milk flavors today at Shop Rite (some in the 'not so traditional Greek yogurt' line). Unfortunately, the couple I've tried so far are not as tasty as the regular whole milk raspberry,…

Progesterone pills were a total flop to help with my blood flow, however it did help with cramps and bloating.

I'm a SAHM too. It never made any sense to work, first I never heard back from the jobs I applied for, second, with two kids in elementary school, I would spend 3 months' wages on daycare in the Summer anyway because I would never make much money (and what about sick days, Holidays, Spring break etc?). So I basically just…

If your goal is too low, eat more... Lots of people start with aggressive goals, when really, it's better to stick to losing half a lb a week than trying for 2 and giving up... And food choices has a huge impact as well.
-
I'd think that if he wanted more, he would have invited to go see a movie or something... but just the two of you. For sure.
-
Yeah... my doc put me on anti-anxiety meds and asked me to go see a psychologist because I broke down crying at the appointment because I'm so frustrated. It's not really new, but it's been way worse the last few months.

Spaced out. I do that too, lol.

I know, I just take all my pills at night. I figure there's less chance of absorption issues with iron if I haven't eaten in 2 hours anyway. The iron tablets I was taking were plant-based. The ones I started to take are Nature Made iron pills. The issue with fasted bloodwork is that I can't function if I don't have coffee…

I usually take my iron pills at night, so about 2 hours after dinner. The over-the-counter stuff... I was taking 36mg, I'm upping to 65mg now, and need to get my iron tested again (I have the script, but it has other things so I need to be fasting, which is much harder for me to get done). I like liver, it just costs an…

Bumblebee. We had planned to go with the kids too. Thanks for all the replies... I just know that this isn't the ideal friendship. I do feel a bit like a hypocrite though... I like C, we're just really not that close, and honestly I don't think we could be (again, my kids don't like hers, I don't agree with some of her…

Any tip to stop the dizziness? I'm starting school again next week and I'm seriously dreading it. It's going to be active classes too (baking/cooking) with standing up for 4 hours. It's just so frustrating, I don't know how I'm going to go through it, honestly. I take progesterone at bed time, I just feel like it takes 14…

Yes I've been seeing a gynecologist. He just says it's pretty normal and we've been trying to deal with the heavy periods for now.
-
I just need to find D LOL.
-
It starts 10 days before my period, and stops on day 3 or so, typically. I get that weird feeling that I need to eat something because I'm feeling weak, and typically breadish stuff is the only thing that makes it stop... but I typically need to eat a lot of it to stop. I've tried supplements, tea... nothing has helped. I…

I went to my doctor yesterday and she basically told me that my issues are hormonal too. Issues - extremely dizzy before/during my period (this has been getting worse. It used to be the last days of my period. Now it started 4 days before. I'm anemic too. NOT helping. - crazy hunger and cravings for bread - headaches -…

It's what I've been doing. I'm not making plans at all anymore. Yes I'm married. I did meet A's husband first but A's always said that she trusts us and isn't jealous (it's clear that they love each other, I don't think that's an issue at all). A and B have been friends longer than I've known them, but A does the same…
-
Yeah I hear you. My main issue really is that, as I said above, A's husband is actually super reliable and always helping me out... but he still goes where his wife goes, typically.... and I don't really blame him for that obviously... I just don't want to lose his friendship over this. A is actually awesome at times…
-
A's husband is a very dear friend also... that's why it's hard to deal with.
-
A is really bad about talking about things she doesn't feel like bothering with, including returning calls and texts.
-
Slice thin and rolls just seems easier but I guess both would work.

The turkey sausage flatbread from Dunkin Donuts. It was my favorite lowish calorie option, and the wrap itself was delicious. They only took it out a few months back. Cheesecake Factory's crab hash for brunch too. I was so bummed when I finally went back after 5 years and they had taken it off the menu.
-
First step is seeing a doctor, but that's happened to me too occasionally... usually because I didn't have a balanced breakfast beforehand. Too many carbs or not enough carbs can do it to me, and I definitely don't have diabetes.
-
I despise pretty much everything sugar free. I always get a chemical aftertaste.
-
Actually it's 238ml... lol. Only US recipes use cups anyway, as far as I know (not sure what Australians do, lol). So it's a fair guess that if you find a recipe that has cups as a unit, it's going to be 238ml (as long as you're talking about liquids).

Make a lower calorie salad (although personally I love corn/bean salads), fill up on that, and enjoy the meat. Grilled meat really isn't horrible, even a sausage is maybe 300 calories (big pork one) and not that hard to fit in. The hard part is avoiding sauces and chips (and dessert). It's just one meal. Even if you…

Skip the bread, avoid anything fried and always ask for sauce on the side.

I've never had one. I grew up with this kind of king cake though.. typically around January 6th. I almost made one (can't find them anywhere here anyway) but I figured I'd just end up eating the whole thing so I didn't give in.

IMO you don't have to go to the gym... but being active (even if it's on the treadmill) is VERY helpful because you can afford more calories (I'm miserable on sedentary calories).
