  • Some of the 10 minute solutions DVDs are pretty good. They have five 10 min workouts on the DVD you can do as many as you want in any order. so it works really well if you only have a short amount of time. I have liked the Knockout body (kickboxing), the bootcamp and the kettlebells.

  • I did for that too in Walking Dead, and again a few episodes into season 3. It was such a dramatic episode and so well done. I am usually a pretty big sap though... I cry a lot while watching tv lol.
  • I was single for almost 3 years before I met my current partner. I don't think I am defective, but I took some time to really figure out who I was and what I wanted. My last serious relationship was 4 years and it messed me up a bit. He used to tell me that I wouldn't be as attactive to him if I lost weight, led me to…

  • Spring 2012 on my couch. It is part of a baby gift I made for my nephew... poor little guy had to wait until he was 3 to get his set of pictures! Bad Auntie!
  • I did enjoy it. There are a lot of characters and it jumps back and forth between 1944 and 2000 so it isn't light reading, you need to think a little to follow it.
  • I just finished The Redbreast by Jo Nesbo. This is apparently an author to try if you liked Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It was pretty good. I am now reading Darkness Hunts by Keri Arthur a bit of a paranormal romance (book 4 in the series). I think the next will be the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. My boyfriend got me…
  • I just finished 2 books that really annoyed me: Saints Astray by Jacqueline Carey and Reflected to you by Sylvia Day. One of the main characters in Saints Astray constantly refered to her girlfriend as baby so it felt like every sentence of her dialogue was ending with baby. It just felt so repetatvie and the story moved…

  • I met a guy on an online dating site and we decided to meet in person for coffee. We met at Starbucks and bought our own drinks and while we were placing our order Lady GaGa was playing on the sound system. He proceeds to tell me that she is a hermaphrodite and is very adamant about it and how he knows it is true. It…
  • I love your flowers... very beautiful. Mine showed up on Halloween with a pumpkin he carved of my fav disney character - Ariel from The Little Mermaid. The thought terrifies him, but he did it for me and is apparently willing to go with me in Sept to see the 3D release with my niece.
  • This is me almost exactly. I lost over 100lbs in 2009, plateaued with 50 more to go. Got discouraged, went through an insanely stressfull situation at work which lasted over 2.5 years (only just came to a close a month or so ago). I was pleased I had only gained back 40lbs as of last year this time, but then threw out my…
  • I met my boyfriend on a dating site. You do have to weed through a lot to find the good ones, but it is possible. You never know until you try! Good Luck :flowerforyou:
  • Actually it wasn't Dale in the comic, it was another character that hasn't made it onto the show (Allen). They gave the wrong information on the Talking Dead on that one... I looked it up because my BF was sure that Dale was the wrong person so we had to confirm it :) He was actually quite surprised that they got that wrong
  • I met my boyfriend on Plenty of Fish. Apparently it took an online dating site to meet someone that worked in the same place as I did for 3 years. He had finished his work term about a year before we met online. Funniest thing is I found a picture of me at a staff retirement party and he was sitting 2 people away…
  • One of my best friends for over 12 years recently decided that she had to create the life she wanted for herself and become the person she wanted to be. Apparently that meant that she no longer wanted me as a friend as she cut off all contact. The truth of the situation as I see it is I recently met a wonderful guy and…
  • I just started Her Fearful Cemetery by Audrey Niffenegger (author of the time traveller's wife). I am not sure yet what I think, I am not too far into it yet.
  • Okanagan, BC. It has been beautiful here so far not feeling like fall. :flowerforyou:
  • I am in! I was doing these challenges a few months back but got really busy and the excuses were coming to easily. I am going to aim for 3500 burned. Today will be 0 burned though as it is my birthday and my boyfriend is planning an evening out for the two of us  . I will get back on the exercise wagon this week!…
  • I found I bounced too much on the eliptical so I worked my way through an audio book instead. It was really the only way I can keep my attention focused on listening to a story like that now. I much rather prefer to read it myself.
  • I tnd to prefer whites, but do like some reds as well. As many have said the best way is to attend a wine fest or go to wineries to taste. My current Fav is the Bacchus it is nice and fruity, but not too sweet. I luckily live in wine country here in Canda and toured a few wineries a couple weeks ago. There are a few fuit…
  • I didn't think I really cared about birthdays until last year when I was told by a coworker my birthday wasn't important because I wasn't turning 50 (like my boss was 2 days after mine). :noway: Usually it is pretty mellow and dinner with the family, cake etc. and I usually end up sharing it with my mom anyway (we are 2…
  • I did Turbofire last summer and while I didn't notice much of a change in my weight, I definitely noticed a change in inches. I loved the program and followed the lesser impact modifications both for my joints and my downstairs neighbours lol. I am planning to start back into it tonight. Good luck!
  • I actually have 2 on the go right now. The Letters by Luanne Rice and Joseph Monninger. The book is a series of letters between a husband and wife who separated after the death of their only child. So far quite interesting as they go through their own ways of dealing with the loss. The other is What the Night Knows by Dean…
