I recently returned to MFP myself; have about 50 lbs I'm trying to lose initially and then I'll see from there. Feel free to add me.

Aw. I like lemon water. ;)

Awesome! I actually was doing great with MFP in 2011 too and then kind of just fell off after getting into a relationship and then just life stuff in general. I just added you on IG :)

I'm restarting again after having success with MFP in 2011. I also started an Instagram to track my progress this year; feel free to add me here or there at @gettingfitinpdx. :) Good luck all!

Hi all, I'm Sherry and I live in Milwaukie, OR. Nice to see a local group on here. I've been off and on MFP for years. A few years ago I religiously logged & participated in the forums and lost about 30 lbs. Unfortunately those lbs found their way back and I'm planning to lose them again and then some by logging, clean…

Here's another super easy one from Real Simple. I don't even mess with the naan or the yogurt and it's still delish! http://www.realsimple.com/m/food-recipes/browse-all-recipes/curried-lentils-chicken-potaotes 1 1/2 cups red lentils or yellow split peas 1 1/2 pounds russet potatoes (about 2), peeled and cut into 1-inch…

I was diagnosed by my Naturopath about 4 years ago. I recently switched from Naturethroid to Armour and I really feel like it made a big difference in terms of my energy level and ability to focus. I also recently decided to go gluten-free so this may also have something to do with it; when I told my NP, she mentioned that…

I use it in my smoothies and I agree, it's delish! I keep meaning to try the chocolate one.

Ugh, I've been the same way lately! I have a couple suggestions: 1) Invest in a slow cooker! You don't really have to know how to cook to throw some things in a pot and set the timer. There are tons and tons of great recipes on the internet (and Pinterest!) 2) They aren't great for you, but I've found that frozen meals can…

I definitely struggle with exactly the same issue, and it comes and goes in cycles. Sometimes I eat healthy all day and I'm like, "I feel great! This isn't so hard!" and other times I feel like I want to eat everything in the world all at once and I'm just like, "who cares." All I can say is that the one thing that's…

What's weird to me is when they make this big deal over leaving, how sad they are to go, etc, but they "have to do this for them." And then they make a new account. I think part of it is just that some people thrive on drama.

I mean SERIOUSLY? Who the hell would fall for that?? If my doctor told me that... well, I guess it would depend on how hot my doctor was. smh.

I actually sat down and made a spreadsheet with a line for each week this year. It worked out really well for me!

Lookin' amazing, T!! What a significant difference. You are an inspiration!!

I would recommend taking a peek at people's food diarys (who have them open to the public). Or browse the forums for healthy recipes. I've gotten some great ideas from other mfp'rs! Good luck! :flowerforyou:
