I had achy knees for years and I had them x-rayed a few weeks ago. Nothing wrong was found. Since then, I have been doing leg curls and leg extensions with moderate weight prior to cycling, elliptical and treadmill and my knees do not bother me anymore.

I discovered Honeycrisp about 6 months ago. They are the best, but pricey too. $2.99 per pound here in Charlotte, NC. Braeburn's are a good substitute for me.

Elliptical is the bomb. Not hard on your knees and burns up a lot of calories.
