I'd like to know too - I'm pretty sure body shape has nothing to do with how we should exercise

Avocados, nuts, nutbutters, and full fat cheese are all calorically dense and healthy. Add extra virgin olive oil or butter when you cook veggies. Use mayonnaise.

You need to eat more.... You are netting less than 1000 cals a day and your goal is set to less than what I eat a day and I'm twice your age! Also, add some more fat to your diet - some butter, olive oil, avocado, or coconut oil. Dietary fat is actually essential for the absorption of many nutrients and is good in…

There is no particular reason to go low carb unless you have a medical reason to do so or prefer eating that way. I do eat low carb (IR) and have my macros set to 25/35/40. Since MFP only allows me to set % on the 5s, I am always aware that I can steal a percentage or 2 from protein for carbs if I want :D Some great…

From articles I have read, you log the info for raw chicken, 4 oz. any fat you lose is nominal and it retains all other calories/macros. Same for beef. For instance a quarter pounder is really about 3 oz cooked but I log 4 oz of raw ground beef at whatever fat% I used

I originally had breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, etc but that isn't how I always eat. I now just have meals 1-6 and I don't care if it was really a snack or meal. I'm just OCD enough that I want it all in chronological order

I found that hand-release push-ups are a great modification too for ensuring full ROM while building up strength to do the full push0ups. I started with the "knee" push-ups because I was in a class environment and couldn't really go get a countertop ;P but I do agree that incline push-ups would have gotten me to full…

Are you over on fat? If you gave cals left, you must be nder on something. Have a spoonful of Olive Oil or Coconut Oil Or just don't worry about going over your protein and have a spoonful of peanutbutter instead It truly is no big deal ton go over your fat and protein macros- my protein goal is set to 150g a day :)

Well aren't you a peach? :flowerforyou:

Trolling in your own threads not good enough for you? You're so concerned about how others feed their kids but patently unconcerned about the emotional well-being of an 8y.o. girl who has already lost a parent?

QFT I don't normally start googling people; but, if I start to smell troll- or catfish- google becomes my best friend. Me and google know everything

watch your kid literally gag and throw up cause of textures and LMK how it goes for you. My kids get plenty of healthy foods but I'm not gonna cry over letting them have chicken nuggets or pizza once or twice a week.

I love you

Yep. My oldest has texture issues. He literally gags on foods. Not making it upp- I can see the tears in his eyes. He ahs since 1.5. before 15 months, he would eat every flavor imaginable of baby food - no matter how heinous. It was like a switch went off around then- he would no longer touch baby foods but there were only…

I agree that people should learn as best they can. I still stand behind that the 21 y.o single parentless OP wants to cast a lot of stones without a full understanding of the subject. Which was the point of the poster's comment on her age and on mine. The OP does not appear to have a whole lot of child rearing experience…

It is not a fallaciious argument. Yes, a non-parent may in fact know a lot about parenting either thru experience as daycare, nanny, sibling, babysitter or due to education and career. But, in most cases (not all), 21 year old single adults with no kids do NOT have a ton of life experience to draw on and my recollection fo…

She meant that the non-parent in this case is 21 and lacks life experience

Nope. But she is young and an idealist and apparently blames her parents for her weight.

its not you. and I agree. People who didn't "get" sarcasm or even tongue-in-cheek tend to find me abrasive IRL - cause apparently they think my threats to kick their *kitten* are serious? - whereas everyone else think I am kind and generally pretty darn nice. Go figure
