QFT off to catch up on 3-4 more pages

Also, losing weight like that would be sacrificing more lean body mass than fat at that restrictive level

Expected Weight loss no matter the deficit can be calculated as the persons TDEE x7 - all calories actually consumed /3500. But you need height weight age and gender plus activity level to even take a guess at TDEE *shrug*

QFT and cause it made me giggle. The only reason to avoid evening eating is if it is a trigger for mindless eating for you. Physically, it makes no difference

Bacon is always good for you  If frozen chicken strips fit into your calories and macro goals for the day, they're fine. I prefer cooking raw chicken overall but sometimes convenience wins

I log everything except for spices, mustard, and water/tea. Veggies have calories and I try to eat several servings a day so that adds up

I still can't see your diary

Used to see those on Denny's menus back in the day. Also, sounds about the same as a standard hospital meal for patients

I agree that sometimes some of the usual suspects don't sugarcoat and could be more 'tactful' in their delivery. I have seen some mark and plenty of gifts. But, I also think people tend to see negativity and meanness wherever there is disagreement. Part of the problem with written communication is the loss of facial…

You can save them up if u want... I only eat back on workout day if I'm hungry. Otherwise, I bank them for the weekend when I know I'm going to eat out and probably splurge a little :)

This is an old post but gonna answer it anyway - I have my macros set to 30% carb (which is about 113 g a day), then 35% each fat and protein. I try to stay under my carbs but I usually went over at 25% so bumped it up. I tend to get most of my carbs from fruits, veggies, nuts and dairy with the rest from occasional grains…

It got moved from Motivation and Support - since so many found it demotivating and the gifs started, I guess this was the only place thety could think to put it? :drinker:

I see what you did here :drinker: Also, my hat's off to anyone who runs a marathon ever. No matter what the time. It is a huge accomplishment and effort for anyone.

That. Also, having been overweight/obese my entire adult life, I set goals that I see as attainable and achievable. I am setting myself up for success. Setting my goal weight as 125-135 seemed impossibly hard with PCOS, IR, peri-menopause, etc. 165 was a number I have seen in my late 20s and involved losing > 20% of my…

Tagging and thanks for the great info and links!

Yeah - that. Turns out that calories in calories out and exercise work for me... But it worked better when I restricted treats more than I have been lately. When I started in January 2013, I pretty much got all my carbs from fruits, nuts, dairy, and veggies for quite a while.... Now, I aim for 25-30% of my cals from carbs…

Here I thought you might get to be the first non-arrogant, non-rude MFPer. But, no - I was mistaken :flowerforyou:

This. And there is nothing wrong - it seems to be universal therefore as designed :P

I agree with this for sure^^^

I agree with looking at the week as a whole - a deficit is built into mfp's suggested calories already. So if your overages one day are balanced by under ages on run days, you'll be fine. And clearly, your weight loss to date reflects that. As for macros, I ignore mfp's sugar macro - it's really low anyway and I am not…
