  • I'll be your buddy! I'm in the same boat. I've just entered menopause and I can tell things have changed. I've done a little research with Macros but have never stuck to it.
  • I've completed Iron and now I'm on Epic. It was a tough choice between the Epic or Fuel programs. I love how upbeat and real she is in her videos!
  • Starting out I got a lot of information and programs from Bodybuilding.com. They do have an app called BodySpace that offers programs and tracking for free. I got bored with it and have found Caroline Girvan on YouTube. She is a certified personal trainer and NASM nutrition coach. She has multiple programs and all are…
  • Welcome to the 100 pounds club! So proud of you! At my heaviest I was 240 and have since lost 100+. Lets be buddies :)
  • Count me in!
  • Ditto on a lot of the same issues. I crave sugar at night and find myself running to the kitchen. Eatting too much "bad" foods and feeling awful about myself in the morning. Proud of you for puting your story out there! Let's be friends :)
  • I'd love to be your friend! I too struggle with late night binging and occasional purging. I've been bulimic for years. Stressful times definitely make it worse.

  • If you're close to vomiting you may be going to fast. Don't worry about speed at this point. Everything I've read about c25k says speed will come with time. The beginning is more about conditioning your body to run. Great job on not stopping and listening to your body
  • Hi everyone! I just started the c25k program this week and was happy to see others in the same boat. I signed up for a color run on June 21st and am looking for support and guidance. I have done the c25k program in the past but had to stop due to an injury. My advise is to listen to the instructions and run every other…
  • Just got my T25 in the mail today and I'm really excited to start! Hopefully we will all motivate and keep each other on track  1. My name is Amanda. I'm 33 and live in a small South Dakota town. 2. I'd love to lose around 10 pounds and be more tone. 3. Currently I do shakes in the morning and try to watch what I…
  • I realize this thread is a little old but I'm just wondering how your test results came back? I have hypothyroidism and extremely low progesterone levels. After trying to conceive for over a year (i'm 33) with out any luck I went to see a PA that specializes in thyroid and hormones. I also had symptoms of being tired and…
  • It it were me I would find a new doctor. Just because you have normal periods doesn't mean your hormones are normal. I had regular periods all my life but had very low progesterone levels to the point I wasn't ovulating...no wonder I didn't get pregnant after a year of trying. I was also very fatigued, cold, fuzzy headed…
  • Exactly! It feels silly at first "running" so slow but I found that it is the trick to be able to go the long distances. Speed will come with time :)
  • Could it be your going too fast? If you're running out of breath you're probably going to fast. It's nice that you're running with your sister but if she's in the military I'm guessing she's in great shape. You're probably running faster than you should in order to keep up with her. S L O W D O W N now and it will become…
  • i just completed Week 5 Day 3 yesterday. It does seem like quite a jump from 8 minutes and I was pretty nervous about it. I agree with everyone on here about slowing down. It's not about going fast it's about building endurance. I jog at 4.1 ( i can walk faster) on the treadmill. Good luck, you'll make it!
  • I'm done with day 1 and 2 of week 5. Going into it I wasn't sure I could jog for 8 minutes straight but really I didn't think it was too hard. It helps if I can focus on something other than how much time I have left. Tomorrow is the 20 minutes straight day. I realize it's more of a mental challenge than a physical one.…
  • Don't feel bad! This is my 3rd attempt at Couch to 5k. The first time I did it everyday and ended up with an injury due to overuse. The second time I just lost motivation. This time I have signed up for my very first 5k in June so that should keep me motivated. My walking speed is usually 3 or 3.5 and my running is 4.5.…
  • Here's my stats... Age - 33 Height - 5' 4" HW - 210 (gained 60lbs during preg) CW - 127 GW - 120
  • I lost 4 lbs in week 1 w/o doing any excersizes. I had the flu and was exhausted!
  • For me, it's about finding enough worth in my existence, to avoid these triggers, and stop being self-destructive via food. This sentence really hit home for me. I too struggle with binging and purging. For a very long time it was my dirty little secret. With the support of family and friends I am recovering. I have…
  • I'm on day 6 of week 1 and I too struggle a little with being hungry. I notice I'm most hungry between meals 3 & 4 but a snack usually does the trick.

  • Great job breaking through the plateau and starting to lose again!
  • I'm in the same boat. I have a beach vacation in 5 weeks and I just started the diet on Saturday. I figure I will just follow the schedule in the book and I'll just miss some of the last detox week.
  • Today is my Day 4 of week 1. I'm feeling awful run down and have no energy. I'm not sure if that's because of the lack of sugar and caffeine which was how I got through the day before this diet. I'm also batteling a cold so I'm sure that doesn't help. Anyone else feeling this way?
