Level 2 is challenging! I found it to be more difficult than level 3. Don't give up though, it will get easier. We have to challenge ourselves to see results.

I dont record any lifting calories and try to eat back less than half my exercise calories each day. I would say stop recording strength/lifting calories all together and make sure you use a HRM for your cardio to get accurate readings.

Maybe once or twice a month together. My husband goes out every Friday night with his friends. I prefer to go out alone on a Sunday for a pedicure and shopping. But I have quite a few friends that go out weekly and do exactly what you are doing and I don't see a problem with it at all. If my parents and his parents were…

Feel free to add me. But beware I do comment quite a bit and will tell you if I disagree with you :)

Amazing work. Congrats, you should be proud of yourself.

I haven't stepped foot in a gym since I was 23 years old. I have lost with all at home workouts, the eliptical and running. My favorties are kickboxing cardio by Jill Coleman. Gets my heart rate up higher than any treadmill and leg press!

I've always wondered about his work outs. Thanks for posting, I'll have to check it out!

Bangers and mashed potatos. Hubby is from Ireland and he'd prefer that over corned beef and cabbage day.
-
I'm 5'3" and have been consistantly losing weight so I can't relate, but if you put in the dedication to your work outs and eat the right foods, regardless of your height, the weight will come off. Good luck!

Im in Elmurst and started snowing aroudn 7:30, I actually don't mind it. But it is March and I'm kind of ready to move into spring!

That's a great idea!
-
Congratulations!

That's a horrible idea. Eat at a minimum 1200 and that's even hard for me to say. I'm not trying to be a message board meannie, I promise, but I hope enough ppl's comments can convince you to eat more than 500 cals.
-
Congratulations, and welcome back!

Sorry you're feeling down. I would tell myself every Sunday morning, this is my week to start. I'd do great for 2-3 days then want to swim in a pool of icecream and would then go downhill from there. This went on for months, every week, same thing. I was totally capable and able, but I kept mentally stopping myself. So, if…

Agreed, take measurements. Any of those high intensity muscle building videos can mess with your head a bit as far as the scale goes. If you are losing inches and clothing fits differently you are doing it right. I did the 30 day shred last year, didn't lose anything but went from a size 8 to a size 6.
-
YEA! That is great, congrats to you and for your hard work so far. Keep it up that 75 will come off.
-
I couldn't imagine losing w/o cardio. It would make sense to not do extreme weight training but not, not do any cardio.
-
Great story and congratulations! You look so different.

Im 5'3", 142 lbs and I look a little heavy but not fat. I think it depends on how you carry your weight. I have a small frame and am pear shapped. Others tell me I look fit, I disagree. I prefer to be around 130ish
-
I'm not a medical expert but I would say yes. If what Ive been told is correct, you have to intake at least 1200 calories per day. Or, over the period of a week, should you choose to eat 1100 one day, increase your intake to 1300 the next day.

I'm exactly the opposite. I love when the kids go off to school and my husband is at work, then I know I can really focus and put my whole heart into my work out without interuption. But it sounds like a nice idea for those that like the group workout atmosphere.

If you don't buy them you can't eat them. Next time you get pissed, chew gum, or have an apple in your bag.
-
I recently upped my calories from 1200 to 1325, and its the best thing I could do. I don't feel hungry and have better work outs.

I use 5 lb and 3 lb weights. For some of the tougher shoulder and back moves, I'm just not there yet with 5 lb weight. Use what you feel comfortable with.
