My start weight was 224 for this challenge and this morning I weighed in at 212. WOOT!!! 12lbs down!

When I got home from the gym this evening I wanted so badly to just say screw Jillian, but I didn't. Stuck to that pledge and shredded those inches away. I'll come back and edit this post after I find my measuring tape. :)

I forgot all about Netflix!! Is it streaming?
-
Can't wait to go buy a new one tonight and get it done! WOOT! Shanna-I'm eating right around 1200, and not eating back exercise calories. :)
-
urgh. Couldn't find my shred down in the boxes...gonna pick a copy up this evening. Hope I can get it in after my workout tonight!!

I don't know much, but I work out every day too. I think it's fine as long as you're listening to your body. If your body feels like it needs a day off, take one. If not, keep doing what you're doing.

ugh! Don't you hate that? Luckily, the scale at my gym and the one at home are about the same. When I was at the doctors a few weeks ago, however, it was 5lbs higher. UGH! how annoying.

This is what I was thinking before talking to my trainer. He doesn't want me to take in more than 20g of sugar/day no matter where it comes from. :/
-
I'm so excited!!!
-
To say goodbye to 200 forever!!!
-
Awesome!! We can do this!
-
I just continue to remind myself that it's TOM....Helps me get through it. :)
-
I'll be shredding it every day!
-
Okay, everyone who is in just send me a message with your email address, I'll send a link for the spreadsheet where we can log our numbers!!
-
This is an amazing site!! Good luck on your journey. :)
-
You make a spreadsheet, upload it to google docs and share it with everyone in the challenge. Then everyone can log in there and add their measurements, and they'll all be in one spot and easy to look at! :) I can make one if you want...I just need to know what measurements you want on there. Then I can email everyone the…

I'm in...now I just gotta go dig through some boxes for the dvd. yikes! LOL When and where are we logging measurments? Should we start a google doc to keep track? I'm excited!!

Great job everyone!! SW (challenge) - 224 1st- 220 2nd- 217 3rd- 216 4th- 214 10lbs! WOOOT! My goals for the week are similar to everyone elses. More water, no cheats, I'd like to lose at least 2lbs this week!!

I agree with your post for "moderatly fit" people, like you've said. I see a lot of "obese folks" replying here though, do you think you can give us your advice for someone who is obese? I can totally wrap my head around eating back exercise calories when you're close to a healthy weight, but when you've got 70, 80, 200lbs…

Bump so I can look back at this, when I'm having a bad scale day!!
-
Keep it up!!

Not to mention if you get gas (eat) before you drive 300 miles (exercise) then stop to rest (sleep) you are going to start the whole process again the next day. As long as you're getting enough gas to get you through those 300 miles or your exercise, then there isn't reason to add more fuel until you need it again...IMO.…

I'm going to look into that. I need as much help as I can get! LOL
-
Thank you! I do love that website...I've used it a lot in trying to make my weekly menus.

I appreciate the responses. What I am looking for is not really a diet. I want to know how many g of specific vitamins, minerals, carbs, etc the body should have a day to be healthy. I'm not looking for low carb/low this or that, or anything about calories. The resources on this site are mainly about calories, some…

I don't know if it helps at all, but I'm also on week 6. At the beginning of my journey, my trainer told me that during week 5-6 I should expect to lose as little as 1lb or gain as much as 10. He said the body starts to go into kind of a 'relapse' during this point. He said changing your workout routine at this point is…

I asked my trainer this last month. He said you can "gain" up to 10lbs during TOM, but it will go away as soon as it's gone. So I just remember that when i've got it!
