after reading responses i thought i should add some more info. I am aiming for around 2000 net calories a day which is about 2200-2400 cals a day. this is about 200 calories more than what i was eating before. i aim for 200 grams of protein and i eat mostly chicken breast, fruits, veggies, greek yogurt, nuts, protein…

eating only 800-1200 calories is not benificial or healthy. you may be loosing weight now but eventually you will stop losing. you need alot more than that just to provide your body with the ability to perform essential functions such as breathing, pumping blood, ect. skip the chips and salsa. sip water instead. I usually get chicken fajitas and just eat the meat and vegetables without the tortillas. filling and low in calories.

I know! i am trying to work myself up to it! i am terrified of getting fat and i am worried that i may not be lifting enough or reguarly enough and if i eat more i am not going to gain muscle mass

i am set at maintance. thank you guys. i just feel horrible after eating so stupidly. i didnt even want to log what i ate because i was embarrased to have people see it but i had to hold myself accountable :frown:

i personally LOVE romaine lettuce with grilled chicken, black beans, corn, black pepper, and pineapple salsa!! i eat it at least once a week. Apples are really good on salads as well as grapes. A friend of mine does not like lettuce so she uses cottage cheese instead then adds all the toppings :)

try having a southern comfort on the rocks mixed with water then add a packet of crystal light lemonade or rasberry mix.

MFP gives me 1990 for maintance plus exercise calories. I wear a bodybugg though and on average i burn about 2700 calories a day. I am just worried that i will gain alot of fat and appear bigger. and i am not sure of how much or how long i should be lifting while bulking to maxamize muscle gains

2500/2800 net...hum i can tell that i am building muscle but i am only eating around 1600-1900 net :( i am scared to go higher!!! i gained weight at the begining but i think it may have been due to water retention? but i have not lost it and i have been lifting for a month now... should i eat more? i was not losing before…
