its not that i cant control having snacks. i can eat a serving of ice cream, but i dont because i dont feel its worth it. then that leads to the binging. because i am so hard and restrictive on myself. i eat snack but they are all healthy. fruit, protein shakes, PB, things like that. but i freak out when an occasion arises…

i have used multiple online calculators and trial and error. i believe my TDEE is around 2300. i am set to lightly active on MFP. as i have two young kids and i am a bartender. i would be happy with .5lb loss a week so i can eat a bit more.

i will try to log as best as i can but i am using the day as a "free" day. but not on crappy beer food. my father in law is coming into town from colorado and we are going to take him to dinner at a fancy restaurant in town complete with wine and dessert :smile:

i dont mind eating clean most of the time. i enjoy healthy foods but i would like to be able to indulge occasionally and have healthier versions of other things weekly. is that not possible?

i know training for a fitness comp is different and you need to be more strict but the comp is a year away and the trainer is saying i need to eat like this ALL the time. not just the 12 weeks or so before competiton.
