  • Newbies....so fun.....NOT! I "enjoy" them at the gym, Weight Watchers, and now I suppose I should look forward to them here, too. Thankfully I don't post or visit the message boards too often. I'm not down on newbies - we've all been one - but they monopolize time, conversation, space and energy only to quit after a week…
  • I recommend chocolate shakeology. I add a banana and some peanut butter and almond milk.
  • I look 42?!?! :noway: [/quote] I have a condition. I'm being studied. 24. You look 24. I'm a bad typist. Sorry sorry!
  • McDonald's premium wraps with grilled chicken are good. I think the sweet chili one has like 360 calories. I've had that in a pinch when something to go is the only option. I also like their salads. The southwest with grilled chicken is good. Anything has to be better than this cabbage soup thing.
  • I just had a flashback to my brief stint on the South Beach Diet. I was on message board and people were talking about the chopping and blending cauliflower, adding some butter or milk or salt or pepper and how it tasted just like mashed potatoes. Fraud, fraud, fraud! I'll stick to a small serving of whole wheat pasta and…
  • But maybe she is just getting started? And maybe it's a way for her to start slowly and get over her fear of working out around people since it's supposed to be fun and and no pressure. For things like this, you gotta think outside the box! Besides, any kid of movement is better than no movement. Once she progresses, she…
  • I quit going to the local YMCA and joined Anytime Fitness and I LOVE it. There's one about 4 miles from where I work and one 5 miles from home. They are super duper clean and the staff is friendly. I like that I can access it all the time and I feel safe there even at night (safe neighborhoods) the equipment is good…
  • Oh, you could also try one of those ladies fitness places like Curves. I think it's supposed to be really fun and not at all intimidating from what I've heard. (Never tried it.)
  • I used to think everyone was watching me at the gym and it took several months to even a year before I realized nobody was looking at me!!!!!!! Only two kinds of people get looked at: those with super hot bodies working out really hard and those doing something completely moronic or unsafe. Everyday people doing some free…
  • (Sorry, still new to posting but this was in response to the guy that said he goes to bed hungry except when he was on Redux for weight loss. Bear with me, I'm learning to be a better poster!) Yes, yes, yes! Me, too! Always, always, always hungry! Appetite suppressant or not. I have lived my life as feast or famine but…
  • I hardly ever post here but this question caught my eye. My bull$h!t detector is going off like mad. Any 32 year old with a career and life would be bit busy to also be a DJ, personal trainer and own a night club. Being surrounded by all of these adults - probably mature and attractive ones! - I wonder why he would want to…
  • Certain pedometers will sync with MFP - like Fitbit which is what I use - but it will only account for your calories burned with MFP. You can use the FitBit site to to see cals in/out to balance food intake and burn. Otherwise I don't know a way.
