I was reading my pamphlet you get from the pharmacy from my metformin, and it says that if it affects your breathing/shortness of breath that is an allergic reaction and you should really contact your Dr. as soon as you can. Wish you luck! Hopefully Met works out for you, when it does it can be a great tool.

Aww that's tough :( I know EXACTLY how you feel! It always seems when you want to get pregnant the whole world around you in pregnant. At least that is how I feel! I hope the best for you...keep that head up and it'll happen! People that can get pregnant sooo easily have no idea how lucky they are.

My doctor finally gave me metformin...and I started taking it 3 days ago. Just 500mg for right now but in two weeks I'm onto 1000mg. I hope I have success stories like you all have shared with me :)

I have gone 6 months without, would have been a lot longer (i don't get a period unless I am on birth control or someother pill form) But once I hit that 6 month mark I knew that couldn't be healthy and thats when my doctor put me on a monthly medication.
