@ariel1116 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! that's a major accomplishment!!!

They were having some sort of an anniversary sale ($4 for four classes over a two week period), which got me to buy in.... & I know that after two weeks it will automatically renew for 5 classes at a MUCH higher rate. But even at that, I think the breakdown works out at 9 assorted fitness classes for less than $10 a class…

Original starting weight - good question! June start: 224.2 June goal: 219.2 Ultimate goal: 175 (then I'll reevaluate) Fitness goals: walk more (10,000 steps a day), yoga x 2, spin class x 2, complete the 60 min monthly plank challenge.

I'm in for 60 min this month too!
-
Apprehensive about stepping back on the scale tomorrow morning... but it's just a starting off point. (and to "celebrate" my return to the scale, I'm going to spin class after work tomorrow!) Can't believe June is almost here....

Perfect! I fell off the wagon for a while, but this is the sort of thing I'd love to take part in to stay accountable. Starting weight: TBC goal: ?

1) Managed to avoid temptation & just stick with a simple main course when my dinner-mates were indulging on multiple courses & drinks 2) Dragged myself on the treadmill 3) Even though I had a miserable run & cut my planned cardio workout short, I stayed in the gym and did 20-30 minutes of strength and core exercises. &…

SAME here. mani/pedi, massage, random kitchen gadget I want (but don't need), new workout top/bottom, some sort of fancy bath/body product (scented epsom salts or a new moisturizer)
-
My hate list: beets, tomatoes, squash + plain yogourt
-
- run 3 x a week consistently - drink more water - not to get discouraged if the scale doesn't always cooperate (and to focus instead on the lifestyle change)
-
1- walked away from the chips that were on sale at the grocery store & stuck with just the items on my list! & 2- went to yoga (for the first time in two years)
-
I'm struggling with this very topic right now! Went to yoga at lunch. Was hungry before I left, but am not now. Just thirsty.

Count me in as another who is impressed with your commitment to cut WAY back on the wine! (that's something I'm working on as well.) I'm not a big tea person, but I found an herbal tea I really like (aveda comfort tea-- or something like that!) and have switched to that at night. Well... let's be honest-- switched to that…

burrito-inspired salad! - lettuce of your choice - diced onion & a bell pepper - half a cup of black beans - 4 ounces of the protein of your choice (I usually stick with chicken breast) - a sprinkling of cheese - & a "salad dressing" that's really just: salsa + vinegar
-
LOVE seeing all of the motivation & progress in this thread! I used to run quite a bit, but I've fallen out of it (and definitely fallen out of love with the sport). But I want to get back into it. So today after work, I will return to the treadmill (yikes) THANK YOU for the inspiration, and I'm looking forward to being…

I need to get over my "fear" of the treadmill.... RIP that band aid off.... & start moving again!

swapped out my usual weekend wine for herbal tea. (and I didn't miss the wine as much as I thought I would!!)
