Today! My husband said "Your hard work is paying off" :)

I agree with the youtube idea. There is an instructor from Hickory NC that has some really great routines I think.

Baby steps! :) .. and you've already taken the first step of your journey, so congratulations!

Schools closed here...but mainly due to recent flooding in several areas :(

It depends on the instructor. Most classes are about 70% latin and the rest is up to the instructor. (there are so many types of latin dance...so many different cultural influences) I lost 49lbs AND toned up while doing Zumba three times per week two years ago. With that being said, I put my all into it and definitely felt…

Nothing wrong with that every now and then....it looks really great by the way. People who eat dry toast and the like every morning will eventually be seen in a crazed frenzy in front of Micky D's one day! :) ... now I'm hungry... :/

An hour plus long massage (spa day) would be sooo awesome!

For me, counting calories helps tremendously. I just didn't realize how many calories I was consuming before. It's so easy to take a bite here and there and not think anything about it, but those little bites add up....quickly! Year before last I started counting my calories. I also started exercising. I lost 49 lbs fairly…

In my opinion, they aren't good at all. I would rather have a small homemade brownie. If the fiber aspect is what you're looking for, just add a fiber supplement to your daily regime.

This makes me so thankful that I have great friends. It wouldn't even cross our minds to 'laugh' at another female for the way she looks in the gym...makeup or no makeup. We do what we want and support each other in doing so. Each persons time in the gym is their own. How boring would it be if we were all the same? How…

5'9" and love them! Confidence is beautiful :)

You will absolutely love, love, love it! Once you get used to the steps you'll be able to really get into it and burn the calories. The DVD's are great...but nothing like rockin' it out with a bunch of your friends. Addictive!

I am the office manager at our local physical therapy clinic. We see patients with this condition from time to time. There are things you can do at home (I'm not a PT), but ask your doctor about seeing a therapist. That way, you will get your exercises in and some additional procedures to help with comfort.

I'm in!!!

Are you lifting as well? I average about two lbs per week and I think that's great for me. Yes, it can be frustrating, but I think it's important to tone/shape as the pounds come off. Studies have shown that people who lose the weight slower have a higher percentage of success at keeping it off.....so congratulations on…

My boss did this last year. She lost a lot of weight, but gained it all back quickly when she stopped. I think it's just a gimmick all wrapped up in a pretty bow. You eat right and exercise....something we all already know. It just takes the will to do it. If you are a person who really needs instruction and thrives that…

I thought I was doing a lot better by ordering my iced tea 'half and half'. I was shocked to see that it was still approximately 380 calories! Eeek! Only unsweet tea for me from now on (which I'm fine with)

I drink them every now and then and my favorite recipe is very simple. I add skim milk, two teaspoonfuls of peanut butter and one teaspoon of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix. It tastes exactly like a peanut butter milkshake to me. This is my go to recipe when I'm craving something sweet and my calories allow. About 292…

^^^^I agree.....counting calories to lose weight and disregarding health is not so smart in my book. Fake foods are, well....fake. Foods closest to their most natural state is best...creativity and learning how to cook those foods to bring out their best flavor is key....I'm still learning myself, but I try to not eat…
