Elliptical and weights 3 times a week and just started yoga. My goal is the lose 20 more pounds.

I'm glad I found this thread. I have the same thing. I have been told not run anymore. I don't have leg pain at this time. No surgery need at this time (yay). I will continue to do core work but, now I really have to watch what I eat.

It took me about 30 days and 12 lbs before my coworkers said anything and then it seems as if everyone said something. I must admit that it feels good.

I recommend doing a check on Week 3. The intervals for jogging become 3 minutes. From there, it's increases quickly. I'm on Week 7 now and I can say that it does help. Good Luck.

You can add me too. I'm set at 1550 and mostly stay under unless I exercise. I eat normal stuff except I cut back on fried foods. French fries are the only things I allow. I drink mostly water too. It has helped a lot. I was a diehard sweet tea drinker. I do my best to monitor the counts, especially when eating out.

I started couch to 5k six weeks ago. It's working but you have to push yourself. When I started, I had trouble jogging more that 3 minutes. I was able to jog for 20 minutes with the last session I did.
