I started yesterday and the soreness didn't even wait until today to kick in. It started before I even went to bed last night! I dread having to go to the bathroom. My legs are killing me it is so hard to sit and get back up again, lol. I really want to do it again today so that I can do 30 days straight, but I'm not sure…

I like to get ideas from Lindas low carb menus and recipes website. She has all sorts of yummy things to make. Snacks, soups, desserts, appetizers, main courses, side dishes, sauces, breads, breakfast.........she lists the carb, calorie, and fat content of everything.

I find the shows and books very interesting. My boyfriend thinks that I am strange when it comes to me watching shows about hauntings. He calls it my “porn” lol. However interesting I may find it I would never want to experience any of it in person. I'm too much of a chicken!

You are probably right. The guy was probably just trying to drum up some business, but I guess It was hard enough for me to pass up the funnel cakes, kettle corn, nachos, fries, margaritas, and all the other things that I wish I could eat. So maybe I was a little bitter. I'm thankful that I had enough discipline to pass it…

I tried replacing the cinnamon with banana extract in hoping that it would taste like banana bread, but didn't quite work, lol. It still needs a little more work.

I just started 3 weeks ago and have lost 10 lbs so far. I tried the 1200 calorie thing and it just didn't work for me. With atkins it's so gratifying to see results on the scale so soon. I'm thinking just keep a close watch on your weight and when you notice a couple of pounds weight gain then just start to cut back on your carbs. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Thanks everybody! I did end up getting a heart rate monitor so now I don't have to guess about how many calories I am burning.

Same problem here. My boyfriend wants me to stop dieting because he says my face is starting to look too thin. I wish I had that problem below my waist.

Bowl of progresso chicken noodle soup, chicken and wild rice soup, or chicken rotini soup (1 cup/half a can) is 100 calories. It is filling. I pouch of starkist tuna salad mix is 100 calories. If I have a sweet tooth I enjoy a sugar free chocolate pudding cup - 60 calories

I love pb&j so I buy uncrustables so I can still enjoy it without having to measure out the jelly and peanut butter in order to track my calories. The whole wheat uncrustable with strawberry jelly is my favorite.

I agree that it is definitely worth it, but I just wish that is was a little less expensive to choose healthy options since it is what is best for all of us.

I'm 5'1" and my current weight is 143.2. My heaviest weight was 185. I'm not quite sure what my goal weight should be, but for now I am trying for 130. According to crazy charts I should weigh anywhere from 97lbs to 115lbs. I guess I just have to kind of wait it out and see how I look and feel as I go along.

Can you count your drinks as water if you add crystal light to it or does if have to be just water only?

On my way home from work one morning I ate one of those huge beakfast burritos that weigh like 5lbs with all the yummy cheese, potato, sausage, egg, and salsa. Then I stopped by the donut shop and had a big ol' apple fritter and when I got home I still went to the refrigerator!! My drive home from work is only 20 minutes.…

For me I need a clean and organized work area or else I feel overwhelmed and distracted. It seems easier for me to concentrate and focus on the task at hand if my area is neat. :smile:

It does get really annoying after a while especially since it is so inexpensive to eat junk food. A salad can cost almost $7.00 while a big yummy juicy burger is like $0.99.........so unfair!
