I hope I misunderstood you there, because to me that reads as 'I'm going to eat 500 calories less than my BMR', which is definitely not advisable.

Click on 'My Home', then 'Goals' in the subheading. Then custom change your goals :) PS you may be right about 1800 being more successful for weight loss, I had the same experience after increasing from 1200 after 7 months.

Is she hiding? Standing behind furniture or curtains? My cat does this when she's in pain (she has sciatica). When she's actually sick she just won't eat and will stay in bed, sometimes it passes in 24 hr but I'd recommend weighing her now and again in a few hours and if her weight has gone down get her to a vet

Isn't this the point of it? It's so revolting and boring you lose weight because you simply can't consume enough of it to stop losing weight. OP, just eat at a deficit. No cabbage required, and it actually works.

I drink far less now than I did a year ago before I started losing weight. I used to have 3 beers a night, now it might be three a week. once is started really looking at the calories I decided it wasn't worth it, and I feel much better for it.

Check the labels, because actually canned foods can have more nutrients in them than, say, vegetables that have been incorrectly stored in the fridge for a week. Yes. I sit in front of a special bright lamp for 30 mins a day and no longer get such bad symptoms in winter.

It makes absolutely no difference by weight. However a cup of sliced banana has fewer calories than a cup of mushed banana because mushed takes up less volume, eg you would use more bananas to fill the cup.
