I always do my weights first, followed by cardio. All the trainers I have spoken with recommend doing it this way to burn more fat duing the cardio workout.

I know you said you can't handle the heavier stuff...but vodka and diet coke is a pretty good low-cal option. If you don't drink that often, one or two will do fine. The only calories are in the vodka. If you prefer beer, there are low-cal options out there.

OMG! I have been doing the making my bed everyday thing too! And it feels so great to come home to a nicely made bed after a long day of work and exercise. So cool that you brought this up. Great post!

This is how I am after working out. I feel really hungry sometimes before a workout, but after no appetite at all. So I always do my protein shakes after working out because I am doing good just to get that in me.

It would also help if you would make your food diary public. I have found that sodium and sugar (not from fruits) is a big obstacle for weight loss. You might have the wrong type of shoes for your workout. If you have a specialty store nearby, let them observe you walk. You might need some orthodics in your shoes. You are definitely not alone because I am so wiped out during mine. In fact, a few days before I knows it's coming because I am so lethargic and getting out of bed isn't easy. My workouts suffer for it too. Push through it if you can, because regardless I always feel better after the workout.

I have a food scale to weigh all my sandwich meats and use the same bread so it makes it much easier. For example, I eat mostly low sodium Hillshire Farm turkey or ham, so it will show up in my most recent food group. So all I have to do is adjust for how many ounces the meat is for that sandwich.
