Stop wasting your money on the physician. Not safe or reputable. And only 5 lbs in that amount of time with those limits. I don't think so. Just stick with your workouts and the calories of MFP for a 1 lb wt. loss - or even a few more. Good luck. With the money you save you can get yourself a treat = personal coach, new…

Lots of great suggestions. I will add a suggestion, that no matter what you decide to do, make the transition over a week or two or three. I love coffee too, but not black. :drinker:

Congratulations! Great job. You may inspire me to start moving more.

 Welcome to MFP. Don't diet, just start small changes in your health habits. It is ok to throw out the food left on your kids' plates - - or save it for them to eat when they are hungry and want a snack. Don't eat it yourself. Don't exercise, just park a few spots farther away from the door. When of if you fold…

I purchase the 1% milkfat, small curd. I don't like the texture of large curd. I mix a variety of things in it. Here are some of them: any fresh berry type fruit, fresh peaches, pears, some melons, canned peaches in lite syrup, salsa, fresh warm applesauce with cinnamon - yum, (my skinny version of apple pie ala mode),…

I guess-timate at the amount of oil or any other calorie dense item that I have not actually measured.

and you must have been doing some great exercise too. Good for you!

Online you can try JMS (just my size), Woman Within, Roamann's. Good Luck on shopping and on exercise.

While protein or energy bars are not the best, they do add some calories that are not so bad. Nibble on one throughout the day with milk if you can tolerate dairy. :drinker:

I save calories all week because I knew today was going to have some delicious, twice a year, surprises. Beef roast for dinnter followed by a black jelly bean and chocolate. And I already did 30 min of walking. More to come.

WOW! I am a bit green with envy. I am 12 weeks but not anywhere near that loss. More reason I need to hit the workout sessions more. Congratulations. May all those pounds stay GONE!

WOW! Pat yourself on the back.:glasses:

You can add me too. I am in need of motivators too, so this could be win:win!:flowerforyou:

and I hope you savored every melting moment of them. Of course it would have been better if they were Dove dark chocolate. Meditate while melting them. :)

Glad to find you. Did not set goals for Feb. although I did want to be down 20 lbs from my Dec. weight at MD office. Made it by 0.1 lbs. Good idea to set monthly goals. So here goes: Work out at Y 2/week Wii balance 3/week Increase speed on treadmill by .5 mi/hr by end of month. Spunky - WI:glasses:

Congratulations! Pat yourself on the back and keep at it.

It was yesterday. I went down a size in pantyhose and they fit very comfortably!

Good for you! Keep up the great work. Feeling good about yourself is the best gift of all.

Here is tons of encouragement and support!

I allow myself one "fun food" on the weekend that I don't usually eat during the week, such as a bag of home popped popcorn. Not microwave so I cancontrol the salt and the fat. Then I keep lots of salad fixings around. Also, I add 5 - 10 min of exercise that is different from my routine. That and water helps.

You did not do a "bad thing". You made a less than desirable choice in response to some event. Be aware of it for the next time and plan a different choice. Then forgive yourself. (Hope the taste was worth the choice!) I try to dringk more water and maybe walk an extra 5 minutes. Doesn't undo my choice, but it soothes my…

I am 58, have lots of weight to lose, but want to get rid of 25 lbs. by June 12 - my one year anniversary off of chemo. Would love to have a cheerleading crew AND BE a cheerleader for others.

Wow! You are inspiring and patient. Thanks for sharing.

I prefer Chobani because it does not have gelatin or artificical sweeteners like Dannon does. Lacking that brand I go with the non flaored store brand of Greek yogurt. and add my own fruit. If need be I will put a LITTLE honey or sugar in it.
