Knocked out a solid 3 miles last night, which isn't much compared to some, but I'm proud of! Used my 10K training app for half my time, and then decided I wanted to keep going, so I went another 1.2 miles on my own. Slow and steady  4/1: 1.25 miles 4/2: Rest 4/3: Rest 4/4: 3.0 miles

I'm a couple days behind, my daughters birthday completely consumed my weekend. Planning to get 2 miles in tonight after work! 4/1: 1.25 mile run (finally got my better half outside to run, he's a newbie, so while it doesn't seem like a lot, it is!) 4/2: Rest 4/3: Rest

This is my first month at it, and I don't really have a baseline to go off, so I'm going to say 25 miles for April! Thank you to @Stoshew71 for leading this group, I'm really glad I found it and can't wait to be a part of the team!

Yes, the sun shining definitely flips a switch in my brain and I'm ready to go!

Hello, I'm Jenn. I ran/walked my first 5K last September. I didn't really know what to expect, and know that when I RU it this year, I'm going to be ready! I do a lot of cardio on my treadmill at home and hope to start getting outside once I can run further than a mile! Looking forward to being a part of this group and I'm…

Good morning! I'm up at 5, work 6:30, gym at lunch, finish up around 3:30. Usually I hold off and eat breakfast mid-morning (just a protein bar usually), and then have fruit to tie me over until after my workout. After the gym, I eat my lunch, and have a small snack in the afternoon and then have dinner at 5:30. I love…

We do spaghetti with whole wheat pasta, breakfast for dinner (omelets with tons of veggies!!), and we grill a lot (fish/chicken). Another thing I try to do to save on time is I make my menu every Saturday, which helps me stick to a manageable shopping list and I can plan for the week. So then, while the hubby is grilling…

I love it, but it's too high in sugars for my goals :-(

Feel free to add me, I keep my diary open and I'm always looking for some reliable friends!

Penzey's Spices (look them up online) has a great seasoning that we use all the time for fish and chicken. Look up Ruth Ann's Muskego Ave Seasoning.

I have to agree about the snack drawer, I tried having one, and ate everything in it! I pack my snacks daily in my bag, and try to switch it up weekly. Some of my go to's are: carrots, yogurt, banana, any sort of fruit, ricotta with honey (after work out snack), and when I'm running short on supplies, I grab a muscle milk.

I wear mine all the time (except for the shower) so that I can get all my steps in. As a new mom, you get lots of steps in the middle of the night!! But, it's a personal preference...

I make a kale berry smoothie (with almond milk) right before I walk out the door in the morning, throw it in a cooler and drink it once I get to work. Oatmeal is another idea.
