  • Got my first 2 in yesterday, hope to get 2 more tonight!
  • One of these months, I'll hit my goal of 35 :D Hopefully, September is it! I've got my 3rd (ever) 5k at the end of the month, which I'm really looking forward to!
  • Thank you to everyone for the kind words!
  • I'm in for July! Really looking forward to getting back into this group and back to running. May was a bad month for me; I lost my dad and then came down with pneumonia. June was all about me trying to shake the side effects of May, and I started back on my TM this week. Ready to get back to normal!!! I'm setting my goal…

  • @PoppetsMaster very cool, that's super intense! Good luck!
  • @PoppetsMaster and @ROBOTFOOD, perhaps a silly question, but are these 50k and 100k's races? Are there mandatory rest stops? That kind of running is intriguing to me!
  • A good core group of friends on here is really helpful. I like to comment and motivate my friends, but I expect the same in return. I also think an open diary is key, a different point of view can make a difference!
  • @acorsaut89 Look at you! I think this is an awesome picture!
  • May's Goal: 12,000 a day; 325,000 for the month 5/1: 10,519 5/2: 12,400 5/3: 9,168 5/4: 13,600
  • Really happy the rain held off last night and I was able to get out and run versus getting on the TM...I get so bored running on that thing! 5/1……Rest Day 5/2……2.13 miles 5/3……Rest Day 5/4……2.11 miles
  • @Anabbee Alot of people just don't think before they speak! Really sorry you had to go through that, but keep your chin up and keep on running! @Elise4270 Those big boots are very uncomfortable. Did you try wearing a high sock to help minimize the rub on your leg?
  • @elise4270 sorry to hear that. What about trying some sort of yoga or Pilates for the next 2 weeks?
  • I decided to take a rest day yesterday after running my hilly neighborhood Monday night. I could feel my calves were still a little tight and figured it was in my best interest not to push it and then be off for multiple days. Hoping the rain holds off after work so I can run outside  instead of on the TM …
  • I'm in! My goal is 12,000 steps a day. 5/1: 10,519 5/2: 12,400 5/3: 9,168

  • Well, I survived my first month of this challenge! Congratulations to all of you who raced this weekend! We had the Pittsburgh Marathon this weekend, and I've got to say, I think that's something I want to do (someday)! I'm setting my May goal at 40 miles, which is an increase over April. I'm going to focus on…

  • Took a night off last night, but I plan to be back at it tonight. I was looking forward to another run outside tonight instead of the treadmill, but they are calling for 1-2 inches of snow starting early evening. Why in the world is it snowing on April 8th?! 4/1……..1.25 miles (Outdoor Interval) 4/2……..Rest…
  • Oh no! My daughter got croup once and it was horrible. Best of luck!
  • Pittsburgh, PA @clepant I'm not too far away from you, I'm in McCandless!
  • @AdrianChr92 that is the creepiest picture of a goose I have ever seen!
  • I had a really productive day yesterday. The weather was pretty nice at lunch, so I laced up and took a walk at the park. It was great weather last night, so I decided to do my 10K training around my neighborhood. Surprised at how quick my times were running outside and I wasn't anymore fatigued than I would have been on…
  • Decided to up my goal for the month because I am almost half way to my goal, and I'm only a week in! With this being my first month in the challenge, I wasn't really sure where to start. What a great feeling to see I can do better than I initially thought! 4/1: 1 mile (outdoor run) 4/2: Rest 4/3: Rest 4/4: 3.0…
  • @greenolivetree @ceciliaslater @9voice9 thank you all for the feedback, I'm going to check into your suggestions. I appreciate the help!
  • I'm looking for suggestions on reasonably priced wireless headphones. The old, white iPhone ones just aren't cutting it for me anymore. What do you use and why do you like them?
