I weight myself every Friday comparing to the last Friday. But I also weight myself on Mondays to make sure I didn't overdue it. If I did, then I know I have to work out extra hard/long on Monday night.

There are lots of books, some small enough to carry with you, that have restaurant menus with nutritional information. Also, I have seen some pretty cool smartphone apps that you can download to your phone. Plan ahead...if you know you are meeting friends at certain place, research before you go. Hope that helps! :)

I have this book but yet to make anything. I bought mine at Borders with a 50% off coupon. Another great cookbook is The Biggest Loser Family Cookbook. Many recipes, very delicious!

I am consulting a doctor during my weight loss and he told me to avoid all fruit juices and not eat as much fruit as I usually do. I do know that I had to give up my raisin bran due to the sugar content, most likely because of the raisins.

I drink 2 generic tea (tea bags) and put 3 Stevia packets in a 16 oz . mug. I drink this everyday now in place of my coffee. Yes, its an aquired taste but now, I look forward to it each day.:wink:
