ahh grapes. I miss grapes. Haven't been able to buy them since this happened: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/23/black-widows-grapes-us-supermarkets-midwest_n_4329380.html true story.

Not. A wing. Would it hurt to just call it "Buffalo Cauliflower"??? Why masquerade as a wing..... Can't see how anything fried* and tossed in buffalo sauce wouldn't be delicious though. Good call. *edit: Excuse me, baked. Still battered though.

just move on. I have surprised the hell out of myself several times after "bad" weeks when I step on the scale and see a number several pounds lower than I expected. I've learned that a couple days of overage won't kill my progress so there is no point in dwelling.

why not work at McD's? they take anybody and you don't have to let sketchy randos look at you nekkid...

false.

You won't find very many people on MFP that are fans of surgery. The main point is that it is just a tool, not a solution, and even though people like to say they understand that and will change their habits permanently this often doesn't end up being the case. Surgery actually tends to require a lot more responsibility…

sandwiches are my go-to if I don't want to cook

beat me to it

Just break up with your camera. It's clearly never going to work out between you two.

Bluntly, because you don't have the willpower. We all struggle with it. Try changing up your behavior. Maybe eat a smaller lunch and a bigger dinner so you aren't hungry before bed, or eat dinner closer to bedtime so you have less time for a nightly binge.

Have you actually talked to him about it? Make it clear that this is a big deal to you and not something that he should just brush off.

any chain fast food restaurant that has more than a couple of locations publishes their nutritional info online. Check it out and make your choice from there. If you don't want a salad and they don't have any other low calorie option you can make common sense choices to at least reduce the calorie content: - don't eat the…

Just measure it. If you're saying you use 1 tbsp or less, that means you're using enough to measure....so do it and log it. Simple. and yeah it adds up.

Back in highschool I marched snare in the drumline, and that was definitely exercise without meaning to do it! I wish I had also been paying attention to what I was eating then because I probably would have lost 15-20 pounds each season. I could have been skinny by graduation! Nowadays, about the only exercise that I would…

Not able to see your diary but I would ask what are you eating? I tend to stick to 1200 plus some percentage of exercise calories and I never feel deprived. This is due to a lack of appetite in the morning so I can get away with 200 calories for breakfast, then a 300 calorie lunch that is heavy in watery veggies for bulk,…

It's true. Come on bro.

That's interesting because pretty much anyone who has looked in to the named diets knows South Beach is a modified Atkins diet. From WebMD: "Both the South Beach and Atkins diets restrict carbohydrates. True, "good carbs" are allowed. But South Beach dieters must say goodbye to potatoes, fruit, bread, cereal, rice, pasta,…

With the possible exception of using the term "self mutilation" I would not agree. I think LiminalAscend hit it right on the head. Too many people are using surgical options without really trying to exercise their willpower, and many of these patients don't have an astronomical amount of weight to lose. For example, I've…

Not sure exactly what you're confused about but then again I've never been on a low-carb diet. Here's what I know: - High carb foods are basically grains or anything with a significant amount of sugar - Atkins, south beach, and other low-carb diet plans have some sort of weird magic calculation that involves fiber? to come…

Nice!!! High five!

This is one of the reasons I don't talk to people about it. Also, at the risk of sounding rude (not my intention), since this hasn't been pointed out yet: OP, you are kind of asking for people to comment and give advice if you're posting about it on facebook. Don't put it out there in the first place and people won't have…

I'll second all the calorie dense suggestions: nuts, full-fat dairy, etc. Do you tend to use a lot of non-fat or low-fat substitutes for regular foods? Like low/non fat cheese or salad dressing? If so then maybe start using the full fat versions instead so you don't find yourself having to eat extra at the end of the day.…
-
Ignore the naysayers who have lost or are losing more than OP says she has to lose WITHOUT surgery and who don't care to see her do something unnecessary when there are cheaper, healthier, and less invasive options?

80 would probably be a good estimate based on what I know of wings and teriyaki sauce

I used to eat a lot of frozen foods. It is quicker to make and easier to track your calorie/macro intake. Though what people point out about the processing and the sodium and the lack of nutrients is true, that has never really bothered me (and probably never will). I still eat about half of my veggies from frozen bags but…

But suppressing hunger is pointless unless you're going to take them for the rest of your life. If the only way you can have self control is by not being hungry then you're likely going to put the weight back on when you go off the pills because you've really learned nothing and changed nothing about yourself and how you…

I've done this on the stove but you could definitely do it in the crock instead. I usually sub balsamic instead of the ACV because we are always out of ACV and it turns out super delicious. I also usually only do a little over a pound of chicken because I'm just cooking for me so I get 4 servings of a little over 4 ozs…

I think they might. My dog used to get super cuddly when I was crying even though for the most part he liked to be off doing his own thing.
