Bump for later.

After seeing your diary for the last week, either you are seriously starving yourself, or you're not logging everything. There are a couple days with 400-700 calories logged when you burned 2,000+. I will assume you didn't log everything. There was also a day when nothing was logged, so I would have to assume that you must…

Without looking at your diary, I would say, in my opinion, the problem could be in part due to "cheat days." Do you log everything you eat, even if you know you'll go over? Also, to ensure that your intake is accurate, do you weigh/measure your food?
-
I wish I could eat 0.25 of a cookie! Lol. I have tried and failed.

There are always going to be "testimonies" and "success stories," doesn't mean that it works. There will always be compelling "studies." The successful people lost weight by exercising and eating at a deficit, and then make money scamming people into trying some "miracle pill," or drink, or whatever. I can't say I haven't…

What you're eating sounds healthy, but portion sizes are very important. Rice can be very high in calories if you're eating more than you are supposed to. Weigh/measure your foods. If you're not logging what you eat, it's easy to forget those little slip ups. Basically, what everyone else said....log your food, and don't…

And people wonder why there is an obesity problem here! It costs an arm and a leg to eat healthy! You can go to Mcdonald's and get a burger for a buck! It's so much cheaper to be fat! Uggghhh...

^Thanks! I knew it was something like that! Lol.

Someone can step in here, but I think you're supposed to have 1g of protein for every lb of your weight, so if you're 100lb's, you should have 100g of protein/day. I may not be exactly right on the amount, but it's about that much. Protein from lean meat, like chicken, fish, and turkey. You can also do lean cuts of red…

Also, I just wanted to add, that since you're only 27, you may not be feeling the pain now, however, I really do believe that if you continue to run everyday you will likely wind up with joint problems. From someone who has plenty of experience with tons of joint pain, it is no fun, trust me! You really are supposed to…

The less body fat you have, the more your body will fight you to lose more. Just the body's natural response. It may take more time. Also, I didn't look at your diary, and don't know your portion sizes, but for someone who is as active as you are, it sounds like you may need more calories. If you're not getting enough…

I am the exact same way. I get real bad sugar cravings at night. I think it's just that my body has learned to expect that sugar spike at a certain time of day, because I have snacked at night for so long. I try to buy things to satisfy my sugar cravings that are not so high in calories. My new fav right now is the skinny…

Tattoos, anything that makes a guy look like a bad boy, however they usually are bad boys, so I tend to stay away from them, but I love to look!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I didn't think there would be this many responses, so I haven't bothered to check this thread in a while. I will try all of these until I get it the way I like it. As far as which restaurants I'm talking about, there is a grill by my house that makes the best chicken. I'm pretty sure…

That looks yummy!!! Will have to try. Thank you!

Not sure, exactly. I guess a little dry sometimes, but the taste is not as good, and mine seems tougher. I usually buy chicken breast tenders or regular breast.

You forgot the mozzarella on top! That's the best part!

If it was me, I would knaw on them frozen, until they thawed. Hahaha

If the last time you lost weight was a couple of years ago, then I think you know what you need to do. You're not at a calorie deficit. You need to look at what you're eating. Log and weigh everything! Eat back appx 1/2 of your exercise calories. Good luck!
-
The closer you get to goal, the harder it is to lose. Your body sees it's fat stores are falling short, and it wants to hang on to that fat. Also, most of the time, calorie burn from exercise is overestimated from cardio machines, and HRM's. Just hang in there, don't obsess over the scale, (hard as it may be) and just try…

Try googling BMR, or basal metabolic rate. I would bet yours is at the VERY LEAST 1,200. Probably more around 1,400.

OP, I just realized that you said you used to weigh 224, that is amazing!!! You've come such a long way, and you look great!!! At first, I thought it said 124. Congratulations!!! My heaviest was 260, now 147. Was down to 140 not too long ago. :( Getting back on track again. ;) You really do look great though!

Good advice here, but keep in mind, those women are not you. It isn't good to compare yourself to other women, who may very well have had their pictures photoshopped. It's great that you want to improve your body, but remember that it is YOUR body, and not theirs. You may very well never get to looking like those women,…

The scale for your food is a good idea, but weighing yourself obsessively is not. My weight can fluctuate for days and days, and then all of a sudden the weight finally comes off. I have driven myself nuts bothering with this crap! I finally had enough, and recently hid the scale in a cabinet, that is 'til my 2yo dragged…

That's usually how physically abusive relationships go, they put their hands on you, and then beg for forgiveness, swear it will never happen again, yadayadayada. Don't buy his bull crap. Get out and stay out. I watched abuse take place growing up, and I swore I would never be with a guy that put his hands on me, and I…

That would be hard having an infant that doesn't nap! Geez, when my kids were infants, that's all they did was sleep! I'm sorry! Anywho, since you're breastfeeding, you should be trying to eat as healthy as possible, since what you put in your body, will eventually go into your baby's body. Plus that baby's sucking all the…

I can honestly say I have never dropped my phone in the toilet, (of course now that I said that, I most likely will) however, I have dropped one in a glass of iced tea once! Sadly, it did not make it. :frown:

I would definately reduce your incline until your body can build up the strength. You should be able to walk at that incline without holding on, if you can't then you haven't built up the strength yet. Just give it time, you'll get there! :flowerforyou:

Yeah, someone who started out at 400lb's, and lost 200lb's wouldn't have a clue what they're talking about if they're more out of shape than you.
