  • Good luck! Add me as a friend if you need some support. It's tough with a hormone problem ( I have PCOS), but you can do it!
  • It's an oil, it clogs my pores and makes me break out. Someone above said it had antiseptic properties, or antimicrobial properties. It has the ability to be a barrier to some microbes but not the ability to "kill" any microbes.

  • LOL!! Canola is so bad for you. It comes from Rape? Rapp? seed, which isn't even edible on it's own.

  • I buy mine from tropical traditions online. They claim it's a miracle oil but I think there is also a lot of hipe surrounding it. No matter what they say, it's still oil and 100% fat. Like one poster said, I put it in my hair as a mask a few hours before I wash it once a week. It works better than any other oil that I have…

  • Just sent a request
  • Do what is best for you. That is obviously taking care of your health and, if it were me, finding a way to get out of that toxic household.
  • No to be combative, or call you "completely wrong" but you are incorrect. Frequent meals with protein delivers protein to your body throughout the day since we can only process so much per hour. It keeps you full through out the day so you don't binge on all your calories or more late at night when it's the worst to eat.…
  • You could do a kick start thing like carb cycling or South Beach for just a few weeks to confuse your body and change things up.
  • Now your just messin with me but it's all good cause it's my free day and I am eating my $4 Coolhaus ice cream sandwich:bigsmile:
  • So happy for you! I feel the same with exercise... reduces craving and makes me feel like I'm doing something.

  • That is just science. But doesn't necessarily apply to everyone. I would say it's a good rule of thum though:) Wish that would happen to me! I have me some Sugar Free syrup but never full on maple syrup... I miss it! LOL
  • Several times a week I make a cottage cheese whip. 1 cup of cottage cheese and 1 cup of frozen strawberries with 2 droppers of Stevia. I put that in my Vitamix and it makes an ice cream You could add some chocolate to this:)
  • In my humble opinion, shakes are a way to get a meal in when you don't have a healthier option available but I don't feel like they should be used as a main component of your diet. Start the way you plan to continue.... would you continue eating (or drinking in this case) this way for the rest of your life? To answer your…
  • Cool- so glad I could help!

  • I looked at your diary and see a lot of packaged foods. I also see that you are not eating frequently enough. It may help to eat 5-6 times a day, veggies at every meal, lots of water through out the day, over 100 grams of protein a day, less carbs, sodium and sugar, more fiber and protein. I have PCOS and am insulin…
  • Ohhhhh, now I get it!! Just focus on filling half your plate with vegetables, 1/4 of your plate with protein (or a palm size) 1/4 of your plate with a healthy carb such as sweet potato or brown rice and somewhere in there 1tbs of fat (like oil, 100 calories of cheese, something like that). Go to myplate.gov and there is a…

  • I honestly do that but I know it's wrong! LOL I tell myself it's a "free" zone or something. Past midnight so it's not yesterday and I haven't fallen asleep yet so it's not tomorrow.

  • Make a vision board with pictures of rewards that you want to get once you reach goal, things you want to do, bodies that inspire you, etc
  • It does sound like you know what the problem is. Just get on Exel and make a spreadsheet of what you will eat next week for 5-6 small balanced meals a day. Go to the store today and get it the stuff and just do it girl! Stick to 1200-1500 calories a day so you don't feel like gorging after a few weeks. Gorging is your…
  • When I lost 60lbs a few years ago my feet became more narrow.
  • I can relate. My kids went to camp for a month and I thought I was gonna kill this! LOL But that never happened! I go to school full time but right now I have no classes going on, my kids are away again on vacation with their grandparents and I do nothing but watch Big Brother live feeds and wait until my next feeding…
  • Ugh, I feel for you! Life does get in the way of our plans sometimes, well, a lot of times. If you have insurance, or the funds you may want to see a doctor or psychiatrist. Based on what you said about your addictive past you may have some undiagnosed depression, anxiety disorder or ADD/ADHD that you have been self…
  • It helps to eat 5-6 small meals through the day that includes lots of veggies, protein, healthy carbs and a small amount of fat. Also, do heavy lifting to increase muscle mass which will increase your metabolism.
  • I have a Vitamix and really love it- use it every day. I think it just came down to reputation when I was choosing. The Blendtec has that reputation of "blend anything, watch it blend an ipad" kind of thing. When I first got the Vitamix I thought there was something wrong with it. I called the call center and spoke to some…
  • It's Bob's Red Mill High Fiber Oat Bran Hot Cereal. The description says it's milled. if you already use a lot of zucchini you know that you will not even taste it! It just adds substance to the pancake.

  • Pretty much exactly what this poster said. I have to say I love your thumbnail pic! That before picture is how I feel in some of my jeans right now! Good to hear the extra water helped. The only thing I can add is try to move around a little and stretch, get one of those gel mats, wear compression socks if there is…
