Anything 'Mexican' style. Black bean enchiladas are my favourite! Not particularly low-fat with the amount of cheese that can be involved, but it's pretty good without.

Quinoa Fried Rice: http://damndelicious.net/2012/10/19/quinoa-veggie-fried-rice-and-a-giveaway/ I tried a variation of the above last night, minus egg but added peanut butter. Pretty nice, just make sure your quinoa cooks through properly. Next time, I'll probably cook it separate. I also used a small amount of coconut oil…

Makes sense to me. As i'm at a average/healthy weight for my height I worry about going over fats and under eating proteins, as well as calories. By worry, I mean be more aware of :p
-
Thank you. I hope to one day be at that stage!

I've been thinking about protein powders for a while now, it's just the initial payment freaks me out a bit. Do you cut out meals and have them or just have them when of need of a boost? And are you able to you recommend any good brands?
-
Thank you :)
-
You need to open your food diary first :) You can do that in the settings somewhere.

I was just thinking the same thing!

I just hate the generic, every monday, every morning, every friday kind of talk. Monday: A: Hi, how was the weekend?! B: It was good, you? A: Good, same. B: But didn't it go quickly! A: Yeah, crazy! Friday: A: Gosh that week went quickly B: Not as quickly as the weekend will! DO PEOPLE HAVE NO CONCEPT OF TIME?!! Just…

I thought 30 day shred was a sort of strength training? Forgive me if I'm wrong. I know it's not like gym weights or anything, but it does use body weight exercises in the programme. Edited to add: OP, I've never tried 6 week abs, but 30 day shred definitely made me feel more toned!

Ha! I agree a lot with this. I found it often came from fairly unhealthy people also.

Hi

Wow. I'd say don't worry in the slightest! You still lost 2lbs overall, which is a healthy loss over that time. Just think positively! They say that losing weight too quickly isn't healthy anyway. You're only 10 days in, don't give up. Think of losing weight and being healthy as a lifestyle change and not a race. I've had…

Agreed!

Over the last month my motivation has sky rocketed, definitely when it's come to exercise. I log daily, so if you want to add me, go ahead :) I always help out friends on here when I can, and give them advice if I can offer any :flowerforyou:

They do. Yes it's accurate. But damn it's boring.

This is interesting, and may very well be the case for me. I'll try 1200 for a while, I'm sure it'll work, it's just a case of my body getting used to it. As most of my calories are now in the evening, when I least need them, it'll probably be easier than if I'm use to eating a huge breakfast. Also, I'm glad that this…

Thanks, it does make sense. It is hard to not sound weird when you're just typing and not speaking. People sound harsh when they're not, and vice versa :P

I want to be in the situation! This is why I asked the question to begin with, as I'm finding it particularly frustrating seeing wonderfully successful people like yourself, being slimmer than myself but doing the same and eating sometime more than me. I'll take everyone's comments on board and then hopefully I can have my…

Fair enough, as I weigh 80% of it anyway, I guess it probably won't be that bad. It just does seem so extreme to weigh every ml of milk etc. But I guess you're right :/
-
Well that sucks. Like I've said the someone else, I'll create a larger deficit to cover any mishaps. I don't have the time to weigh so many elements of my dinners. I'll go change my goals now....
-
Jeez. I think I'm going to have eat generally fewer calories just in case, as measuring this vigilantly seems like a waste of my life :P I never use cups, as I'm not american and have no idea how big a cup is :P But I'll take note on weights over other measurements. I do tend to measure peanut butter with spoons rather…

Thank you, this may be the case. Sadly.
